For a congregation it's nice to hear 3 different harmonisations of the same hymn! This hymn very well-known in Lithuania and sung especially in the month of May which is dedicated to Mary.
One thing I particularly love about the online organ community is finding out which hymns are known and/or popular (or not as the case may be) throughout the world. Agree with you Vidas, having some variety is enjoyable, perhaps especially so when the hymn is well known, to add some extra enjoyment ❤️
It's a really beautiful one Phil - the Hymnary reference gives a link to the NEH arrangement, which is 7 verses (good processional/recessional), but some can be interchanged for different seasons - the words themselves are incredibly powerful too Seems to feature more in Aus & UK as far as I know - but could have a welcome intro to the US via Florida..... 😁
Also, incredibly honoured you've stopped by Chris - we know him from his music, but I'm venturing a guess there's more a familial relationship with great man?
