The Airbrush I use is a Harder & Steenbeck 2 in 1 EVO with a 0,4mm needle attached to a EuroTech 20A compressor boosting 2,4BAR(35PSI) of air pressure through the gun.
Or a Harder & Steenbeck Evolution Silverline with a 0,2mm needle attached to a EuroTech 20A compressor boosting 1BAR(20PSI) of air pressure through the gun.

Some great builds Tom . For me buddy I to build what I wish I could own but I must admit I take on custom work and like you Tom I just don't enjoy building to someone else's WANTS. I love building, I build them, show them in a contest ever June and after contest I sale them so I can keep building. I do wish I could keep them all but little free display room and the builder wants I have I sale them to help myself keep building lol. I put a price on them I WANT if the buyer pays great if not I keep them . You have some great items here a great channel and I mention you often in my own videos. Take care Tom and keep building . I love the progression you collection showed. I actually mimic everything you do in your video's and it has won me a lot of 2nd and 3rd place finishes in local shows. My skill level is still about the level of your 4th or 5th build ( looks good, constructed well but still have a few paint flaws or shine flaws) I mention your progression because like you I build for my display viewing pleasure and I can see how practice is helping me progress, I had to avoid getting upset with my builds because they were not turning out as good as yours and I had remind myself it takes time. I'm still trying to perfect my paintbrush game, you have the most steady hands of anyone I seen, so that's still in the works but amazing job....I would like to see whet you could do with one of the DTM race cars though.

Hi Tom, thanks for all the great videos and for turning me on to Zero Paints. As I'm sure you are aware, Zero Paints carries a small range of flip flop paints. Would you possibly consider using one of this range on a future build? I'm going to get some at some point, but would love to see them used by an experienced car modeller like yourself. Happy modelling.
I'm not a big fan of those flip flop paints, a bit to out there if you know what i mean. Would not know what to use them on either. I will be giving the midnight purple 3 a shot though, that has a flip in it aswell.
Fair enough. I think I'll be using one of the flip flops on a Lamborghini model. I think flip flop suits super cars as they are over the top anyway. I look forward to the midnight purple 3. Even though I am, above all, a sci-fi modeller, I enjoy your videos and all the helpful tips. Many thanks and keep up the good work.

The first time I saw a flip flop paint job was years ago in Chichester, West Sussex (UK) and it was on TVR which were manufactured locally. I don't know if any kit manufacturers make a TVR model kit.

How do U display all these Beauty's? Do U house them in a case of some type, custom made I'm sure😁, if possible add that in a video some day. I was a plane guy for years & have just switched over to Cars for a change & "SPACE CONSIDERATION"... thx, LEBIII
I became a subscriber a few months ago. I thought you only built exotic Euro cars. :). There were some really nice older American muscle.
So I recently bought some Zero paints and was astounded how beautiful they went on. I also bought the Zero clear mix, not the Diamond. I mixed the portions carefully as prescribed and laid down the first mist coat. It was a bit rough, but I thought the next coat would level things out. Not so. I used a lower air pressure and not much better, then a higher air pressure and and then one more at 20psi. Now the finish is still a bit rough and will probably take a week to cure before I can smooth it out with sanding. When I watch you put the gloss coat on it looks so silky smooth. I live in Colorado which is high altitude. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Have you ever tried weathering the tires with a sanding stick? You know to make them look used. If so, did you like the way they looked? Im only asking because every now and then you likd to add some "scrape marks" to the bortom of the car to show usage.
Anyways, love the builds. I'm a very detail oriented person and always thought about doing models but I had never seen someone put a ton of detail into one of these so I thought it would be impossible. Then I came to your channel and fell in love with your work. It's amazing!!!! I bought my own model and Im going all out on it, Im super excited about it. Thanks for sharing your work and strategies. They really help!
xChippottle make sure to start slower, don't go all out by like using custom figment wheels and an engine swap and chopping the body or fitting extra parts. Just start with the kit itself some paint and some glue, make sure to be patient and have fun.

I have indeed tried it, though the rubber does not really sand easily, kinda makes a mess and rips it appart.
The Scalemodeling Channel maybe he's talking about slicks..? You can do it to slicks because they don't have any tread for the sanding stick to catch on.
Even with slicks its not easy, not saying it can't be done. but its not fun:P

Question do u follow the prints to put these together? Do you pint each part for models to the specific color the directions says or what? Also do u paint each bodes the suggested color as it says in the directions of all these models u have in this vid and your current model that you are working on? Also how can u tell the difference between the mold lines and model lines that Ned to be their plz help me and answer my questions
I do not follow the instructions when it comes to colors. I either paint them whatever color i want. or what i find on refference pictures.
You will see wich are moldlines and wich are not.
it's interesting how quite lot of cars seems to have wheels too big, is that coming directly from the kits ? or is it something where you added custom ones ? like the blue Mustang or black Porsche in the beggining of the video, being a good example

every build is different, but in general 20 to 30 hours
Ill break it down:
Kit €20,-
Bumper and over fenders €16,-
Wheels €7,-
Photo Etch €5,-
Paints €10,-( i still have a lot left over to use on other builds)

Is the very first @ 0.20 Ferrari America model kit from Revell? I'm currently building the Fujimi version and tho the body itself is nice and crisp all the other part is sh*t. For excample the wheels are from the Maranello version (kit comes also w/Maranello interior tub) and the seats are horrible. I'm thinking to rebuild them basically from scratch. Or then I'll suck it up and make the best from what I have. Any suggestions for the wheels? I have several BBS' lying around and Enkei Gtc's 19 inch tall. But they're not staggered 😣
Both the superamerica's are the revell kit ;) I love the stock wheels that where supposed to come with the kits, but as you said the fujimi's are not the right ones, and the revells are to small. i don't really know wich others would actually look good though.
