That is my favorite redesign of yours so far! Despite the praise, I am not quite happy with the official redesign, especially on the backside and you made it that much more elegant as I was missing it to be.
I still dislike the angry lights in the rear, the round lights were so iconic ! making them look like an evil face just for aggressive sake is the complete opposite of what the 33 represents
The original is absolutely stunning. The new one is quite stunning, as well but Frank has improved it IMMENSELY. And his reasons for these changes are well thought out. Awesome video, sir!

I love both the original new design and the new version by Frank Stephenson. If I would be so fortunate to have the choice of either, which of course I don't, I would slightly prefer Frank's version, as it is more smooth and flowing. But I really agree with Frank's praise of the new design by Alfa Romeo, it's nice to see his appreciation of this masterpiece, even if he found some details that could be even slightly better. Loved this video, thank you!
Some of the elements you redesigned look better, such as the bonnet, the rear end (as seen from the rear) and the side glass. Oh, and I like the front grill simplification. Genius! But the wheel arches are too retro and make the front end looks even shorter. The front lights are too big with the lower side rounded. And the rear end seems too low, when seen from the side, although as I mentioned, it looks great from the rear. Cool shirt and color though Frank!
Frank's modifications are on the spot. Personally I would shorten a bit that speedtail for a more nimble look. The tail light side plates are definitely too much on the new design so Frank's take in that is the best update of his on the whole design in my opinion.
ok, your redesign of the new Countach and 33 Stradale are both spot on. you now have my permission to redesign my favorite car ever, the Alfa Romeo 8C, and i'm not nervous about it.

I like your re-design making the back lower, taking in the points of a lower place for the number plate and reflector lights. You have put a lot of thought in the re-design and it is one I very much prefer
What a great redesign!... For me, the most important changes you've made are the front bonnet - a zillion times better, particularly the air intake on the side - that change is massive as well and really enhances the look of the car in line with the classic design, the back end re-design - much, much better and, strangely-enough, the repositioning of the side logo - I like what you've done, much better that the original. Beautiful tribute to the icon. Your design is even better, especially the front end! I'm not so sure about the rear end. Your version looks a little bit too big or long from the side view or the wheels look small. I'm not sure but it looks off for me. I love your cleaner end as well, love the complex thoughts and the simpler design. Love the red elements on the tail lights! They were missing for me once I saw it. Man, that rear end with the more sloped design brings the tail lights down to near the exshaust pipes to the exact perfect ammount, just brings the whole thing together perfectly
When I saw the new Stradale redesign, I wasn't absolutely blown away. I thought it was very nice looking, but it didn't have that feeling of completeness that the original design has. After seeing Franks design, I am blown away by how much better the design feels. Wonderful job Frank, thank you for an amazing video.
It is a tricky one, because on the one hand, continuing the spirit of the original, and on the other hand taking it to the future are both of importance. Personally, whilst I appreciate some of the suggestions: headlights, reshaping of the side intakes, the suggested change to the grill unit, I am not sure about the change to the rear from the side profile, however from the rear 3/4, I can see the improvement...Great analysis, and I whole heartedly agree with the view that the sculpted upper body, and the technical lower section in carbon fibre are irreconcilable; the contrast is too great, and this emanates from the MC20.
I learn so much about design in each video... also is so interestering to listen at every detail of what sensation it gives each shape or touch... Also how hard but so satisfying is to make each line match other car line
Perfect redesign in my humble opinion. Especially the rear licence plate replacement and the reflectors, just perfect. As you aptly put it, " this car should not have a single carry over element." Your rear end is the way it is supposed to be. So much cleaner and truer to the original. Thank you very much for your insights. Highly appreciated...
I never liked Alfa grills very much but this is pure art which looks absolute timeless. Your "improvements" are really beautiful. Its always about the details and you absolutely nailed it.
Yes I feel very happy to see what you did Frank, especially at the rear of the car I must say. Well done Alfa Romeo, a wonderful company and a great job. All the success in the world to you.
It's a great car, but being just a car enthusiast, and design in general, I always thought there were details that didn't fit. Your design certainly shows where they are and has taken the car to another level of aesthetics and beauty.
Congrats: you made a actually very good looking car look even better! It really is much closer to the original 33 Stradale with the small changes you suggest.
Thank you for sharing your immense knowledge on this platform, it's such a blast following your explanations. Maybe your new back has gotten a tad low and long but everything you touched made the design so much more flowing and meaningful.
I think the changes you made make perfect sense! In my opinion I would also like to have seen the drivers cabin more to the rear of the car. I love the organic flow of cars of this era!

Less is more, something to remember! Absolutely an edge of the seat review.
What a master class Frank!
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.
That was a viewing experience and a half. The production quality was amazing. Kudos to the production team ❤
Many of your issues was things I also was thinking about, great to see how you sloved them!
I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Your insight and expertise really come through.
You still got it Sir... Your touches really take this design to the level it should be...
Glad you like them!
I've been waiting for your redesign since this new model dropped. Always felt there was room for improvement in certain areas
Yes I feel very happy to see what you did Frank, especially at the rear of the car I must say. Well done Alfa Romeo, a wonderful company and a great job. All the success in the world to you.
It was really interesting to watch your redesign and justification. I wholeheartedly agree with your changes. Masterful and also very respectful.
thanks frank for taking the time to plan and execute this very thorough video. cheers to you, sir
It's a great car, but being just a car enthusiast, and design in general, I always thought there were details that didn't fit. Your design certainly shows where they are and has taken the car to another level of aesthetics and beauty.
Frank, what an amazing analysis and redesign!
Was waiting for Frank to go over this!
My pleasure!
I think the changes you made make perfect sense! In my opinion I would also like to have seen the drivers cabin more to the rear of the car. I love the organic flow of cars of this era!
Frank, thank you for sharing your view... really you are part of my automotive history.
It was an incredible and emotional video. Thanks for being an influence in taste and history about cars.
Love from Venezuela
Un placer Miklos! 👍
This video was so perfect! I love the new 33, but dang your redesign is quite an improvement!
Thanks Reece!
Frank is the best!
I really like what you're done with the channel - I love the organic look and editing of your videos.
