    I love garlic! Thank you for sharing!
    When I was little I had a lot of issues with ear infections, so what my mother did was to finely chop up a little bit of ordinary yellow onion. She then wrapped that in some gauze, put it (secured in place with some medical tape) in my infected and hurting ear over night, and in the morning it was all cleared up! The pain and infection was completely gone! I mean...half your head and your pillow smells like onion the next morning, but it's totally worth it! xD

    If you want all the Full Medicinal Properties I highly recommend that you dice all of the whole cloves and let sit for 15 minutes before adding Raw Honey. Fill the jar almost halfway with chopped garlic and the rest with honey” I also add organic cayenne pepper powder for additional benefits and let ferment for a month while making sure to Burp the mason jar a couple times a day. Throwing whole cloves in will do nothing for you!!

      Thank you for your suggestion on chopping the garlic.
      Barbara O’Neil has an onion cough syrup where she does chopped onion and honey and then removes the onion after 24 hours and you ingest the syrup.
      What’s the difference between honey garlic and honey onion? Do they treat different things?

      The taste is amazingly good- does it smell? a bit -because it’s garlic!!😅 but very easy to chew up & get the benefits from allll day!

    I’ve tried making this before. One tip that helps with removing garlic skins is once they’re broken up add them loosely into a jar and shake vigorously. That removes the skins. But my house smelled so bad of garlic I tossed it.

    Thanks so much for your vids. Can you please do one on your A-frame chicken coop.
    Also, if you or anyone's interested, try these : Insect spray - used directly or on surfaces - spray bottle with equal parts water and white vinegar, add a good amount of peppermint essential oil (about 10 drops). And for anti perspirant, bi carb soda. I live in rural sub tropical part of Australia and these work for me.

    There are so any ways to peel garlic fast!! My favorite is to break up the heads into individual cloves. Put them all in a stainless steel bowl. Take a second bowl and invert it on top of the first bowl. Grab the whole thing and shake vigourously. Voilá, the skins are mostly off.

    Great video Beautiful! I just made some for m 1st time tonight, can't wait, I may have added more honey compared to 2 bulbs than needed, is it fine to go back and add more garlic bulbs a day or 2 later? Also as far as if someday the rare ph balancing were ever needed, would a splash of lemon, lime or even grapefruit or any citrus do instead of apple cider vinegar?

    Hi Merissa, please help! I made some of this with pickle pebbles (mason jar weights) and the self burping lid/flats, and when I just opened one up it had some mold growing on the underside of the silicone lid from where it got very bubbly from the fermentation and the level of foam reached the top of the jar and then lowered. I have cleaned the rim of the jar very well and replaced with normal mason jar flats, but I'm wondering if this sort of thing is normal? I really wouldn't think fungus could grow on anything honey/garlic, but it sure did, and I was surprised to say the least. Thanks in advance for insights you might be able to offer.

      Leave it out at room temp. Honey will preserve it for a long time. I've seen other people say they've had some for 2 years. You will want to keep an eye on mold, but it last a great while.

      @@zetsumei1017 . I ended up making two jars. One I left out and one I put in the fridge. Both are doing fine. Once I open it I’ll refrigerate it cuz I like it cold. I have garlic fermented in brine and apple cider vinegar too. I like garlic! There’s a Mediterranean method that leaves the skin on and it ferments for a year.

I don’t take over-the-counter meds. I don’t eat processed foods very often. On the extremely rare occasion that I get sick, I have holistic remedies. I don’t go to AMA docs……I see a naturalistic holistic doc for thyroid prescription once a year. I would go there if I got sick. The bottom line. I love (and grow) garlic. I just found your video. I made some in a pint jar a couple weeks ago and didn't realize you are only supposed to "just cover" the garlic. Mine has probably an extra inch of honey. It is bubbling well. If i put too much honey and messed up the ratio, would it be bubbling?

    • @meoshibravo2356
      @meoshibravo2356 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The bubbling is fermentation happening. Burp the jar daily for at least 2 weeks or until bubbling stops. As the honey pulls the water and medicinal properties out of the garlic the honey becomes more watery and you will have more honey liquid in that jar than what you started with. Yum!
