I would say maybe add color in one of the sweaters. So many cashmere and cotton sweaters in my local thrift stores ranging from $6 to $20 and in the summer dress. I think a leather belt to match the boots is important too and very thrift-able. Love the way you broke it down by month. I’m on the hunt for non denim pants but haven’t found my right pair yet.
Thank you for this video, very inspiring! I'm in the process of analyzing and upgrading my wardrobe, and I found out that I want more colourful warm clothes to use in summer. I live in Iceland and the summer here is pretty chilly. I have so many warm winter style sweaters, so I recently thrifted two colourful ones in order to make my summer outfits a little bit different from my winter outfits. I'm looking forward to implementing some of the other ideas from your video, it is very helpful!
This is very helpful advice! I started redoing my wardrobe last July, but yes, it's a year long process so this advice of working on it with a budget over the course of a year is so realistic. I have a little more wiggle room than $100 but I definitely have a budget! After watching your video, I made a Pinterest board to help me organize my finds for each month in my style. I ended up purchasing a couple cotton button downs for March, leather booties on sale for January and a beautiful Quince silk slip dress for April. I'm so excited to try on these items when they arrive. I already have two wedding invitations this spring, so you're right about the timing on that. Thank you for putting this together. I took lots of notes 🙂
Love that you do this with a budget ❤ Very accessible as you say.
