I totally get what you said, I don’t know if it is the small sample, but on my skin atomized from the bottle it’s very linear, but it doesn’t lose strength, it gets lighter, but not to the point that loses that first impression, I do get the Cacao, not the chocolate smell, but the bitter taste of it, I’m talking pure Cacao powder. As you said the animalic favet is there, but very mild, I like it a lot, but I don’t spray it often, I need to be in the mood for it. All in all I’m glad you like it. Thanks for the Samplin’ Marc!!!
Complex, well blended, but not so daring. I agree with your assessment of "restrained". Strong longevity, a little too sweet and friendly for my personal taste, prefer something darker on myself. Wouldnt want to influence your review on Ombre Nomade, but I feel like ON fills out where NM doesn't quite get there
I’m glad you got around to trying this one. Your assessment is pretty spot on and this is my favorite from the line by far. Strangely, I never thought of it as an oud fragrance. For me, it’s all about the leather/suede and saffron. This is still in my top 10 list for fragrances I’ve purchased since the pandemic. I’ll be very interested to see your take on Ombre Nomad. I’d really like to know if you have gotten your nose on Raw Gold by Thomas De Monaco
@@robes08 The original version of Raw Gold is going to be very difficult to find pretty soon, the second iteration is OK, but lacks some of the smoothness and refinement of the original. If you have any trouble getting a hold of a sample, hit me up.
Your reviews are spot on! To the point, informative. Thank you for sharing such great content! If I could give a small constructive feedback would be hide the microphone cord, cheers bud!
I really want to explore this brand eventually, but blind buying at that price is risky business. This where I would've started too, or that pur oud one
Wasn't a fan of this line. The freshies are boring and the darker fragrances are pretty scratchy to my nose. They are definitely hyped in the groups, though.
I think it's a created hype by the multiple splitters in those groups, they make tons of money refilling and splitting these bottles as it's cheaper to refill but they can charge the inflated price of initially buying a bottle. You'd be surprised how a handful of splitters have power on how to influence in those groups, create hype etc.. You don't see the same hype on other socials for the brand for good reason. You can see the power of influence from one social media platform to another.
I don’t like Nouveau Monde and Ombre Nomade. Too synthetic, no real oud. There are so much better rose oud fragrances available. Triad, Ottoman Empire, Rooh al Assam to name a few!

Thank you for the great comment as always. Sometimes with these little samples you'll miss a thing or two and perhaps that was the cacao for me.

Looking forward to sniffing ON as it's the hype beast of the brand. We will see how it goes!
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day

I have not gotten my nose on Raw Gold, I wrote it down and will check it out later. Appreciate you coming by still on the channel! Much love!

Thank you! Appreciate it!
Imagination and Ombre Nomade are my favorites from the brand.
I do have a sample of Ombre. Looking forward to sniffing another from the brand and see what else they offer.
I'm not exactly sure why and I know they get love in 'the community 'but I cant get excited around LV fragrances....
I think this hype was mostly decanters that started it.
I wonder what your thoughts are on LV Meteore and Imagination. Please chime in 😊
Haven't smelled either. I purchased 3 samples I believe. This, Ombre and another. Think it was cactus.

The Ombre is next to sample for me.
Damn can i come over and acknowledge your collection? lol
Same wish 😂
😅
@@robes08I’m kidding don’t be worried

Great video
Thank you my friend!
❤️🔥
Price tag ain’t matching .
It’s true
I don’t own any LV fragrances.
SOTD : Note Vanillé M Micallef + terre d’hermès edt .
That Note is a dangerous scent!

Once you start looking at price and you're looking at it as just a rose/oud yes that price will open up many avenues to find something much more.
