Can I Build a TRIPLE SPACE SHUTTLE !? (Modded KSP 1) Aircraft Only: Ep 9

In this Aircraft Only episode we're gonna build the most insane contraption of a space shuttle I've ever made in Kerbal Space Program, it can launch station modules to orbit, repair satellites and do everything a normal shuttle can BUT it's fully reusable and fully AIRCRAFT and it's going to get us set up for the next mission: a GRAND TOUR OF SARNUS!

You should design a non-resuable launch system for this to compare cost per launch, and calculate how many launches it takes for the reusable aspects to outweigh the initial construction cost difference. Obviously, the point of the challenge is to use planes for everything, but it's useful to see how that compares to a "reasonable" design. It's really neat when you're able to make a reusable system pay for itself in a small number of launches.

Actually you could expand the station and make it a landmark/way to show off alll your vehicles. You could also put kerbals on there as a quick and easy XP farm if i remember my KSP right.

Space tourism when? A space station between Kerbin and Mun would be nice, for tourists with an idea of having a habitat on Mun. Extraa points for fully electric plane travelling from station to mun. (think there was an electric engine)

That along with the massive amount of deltav needed to actually get back up to sarnus orbit became a bit of an issue. So for right now at least the Sarnus atmospheric hopping is a bit of a bust until our tech and designs improve

That was actually a complete accident while trying to add the new “Deferred” mod to the list, it for some reason makes the SPH dark, not complaining though!
