JUst looking at your achievements whew to have a plan and go at it with sheer determination you are building a complete different house that I have ever seen and I love your dog 🐕love the way you are reusing the bottles and the trees 🌳it makes it all so unique and colorful, look forward to seen it completed regardless of the downpours we in Ireland 🇮🇪 are used to rain pouring down but it won't last the sun will shine again .

That is a magnificent cabin you are building. Plan to keep your life simple and live in it forever. That will afford you the opportunity to have the folly of boat living the rest of your life. You will always need a one meter longer boat, but you will never need a larger cabin. Once this cabin is done I want to see you build that 40' Sailing Boat and hit the seas. Bravo, great job!

Your wall is beautiful. Years ago on one of the PBS shows like This Old House, I remember a man I think from IL who laid a wood floor of the logs cut that way to produce circles. He cut them tile height, used some kind of oil to soak them for long preservation, then laid them with mortar like he was laying bricks. It was so beautiful to see how the rings in the wood flowed like waves on his floor.
