It's a great habit, because it's easy to get caught up in the emotions that come with a few bad turns, especially if it "feels" like the game is ganging up on you. I've found it's a helpful practice to (in that moment, against all of my instincts), try to stop and compliment my opponent after something goes well for them and bad for me. It makes them feel good, it makes me feel better, and frankly, it's what I'd want if the roles were reversed.
We didn't have much luck with Marvel Villainous the first time we played it, but this make me want to try again! Fun video! You'll get him next time Monique!! haha
A few rule clarifications, because I'm THAT guy. . . 1. 9:12 Lorelei did not have to be discarded in the vanquish action because Melinda May S.H.I.E.L.D. was at 0 strength. 2. 35:45 When Black Widow S.H.I.E.L.D. is played, if the second Fate card is a Hero, it does not have to be played to her location; it can be played to any location in the same Domain. 3. 46:19 I Did What? When? should have been shuffled back into the Fate deck because it was an unchosen card from revealing cards. Otherwise great video! :)

@@BeforeYouPlay I don't know if I could pick just one... Madelyne Pryor, the Goblin Queen is definitely up there though. She is one of my all time favourite characters and she just so happens to be a villain. Granted Doctor Doom is also a great pick. Would be cool to see him in Villainous.

One more follow up: what made you think a mischief token should have been gained by Naveen (was there a card effect ot ability that you feel would have given that?). If I understand the context of the question, it will be easier to address - this is the challenge of trying to recall the game state of a video posted a few months ago.
@@WatchItPlayed I think because of the king Loki card effect, whenever he gets fated he gets a mischief token, does using black widows effect by drawing another fate card give him a second mischief token?

I recently learned "If you use a Vanquish Action to defeat a hero with 0 Strength, no Allies need to be discarded."

My game didn't come with the clear/blue coin holder do you have to but the original game for it?
That comes with the core game.
On disney villainous I'm almost sure you start on the first location (leftmost), so you can't go there on the first action
