Aye get some 8 gauge speaker wire then wire them down to 1 or 2 ohm with 1/0 gauge power and ground wire and you’ll tell a big difference but it is hitting like that 2
ThTs what’s up congratulations to your boy, always exciting when you get some new stuff, even if he starts off small, since he already has the skR subs, tell him get some components sakes for the doors, mid& tweeter there decent for the price as well as those d18 brand make some decent ones that sound good for the price , and yea definitely get a ported box, always best to build one yourself if have the knowledge, maybe some 6x9”s across that rear deck?? But I was gonna ask you have you ever ported through your rear deck on any of your cars, if not especially on those cars I recommend cause so much airs being forced into the car cabin, and reflects off rear window, and also cuts way down on the truck, rattle etc, keep us posted man tell him when he gets. But if money def get some better wire maybe TleSt some 4 gage , better rca”s , it’ll all come together tell him no need to rush, just to have sounds I know it’s exciting etc, but I’ve learned well over the years either buy little by little of stuff I want want, or save a few and buy it all at once, bigger mono amp as well those subs everyone sleeps on there under rated man, I have six 8” inch scars in my Cadi sounds like 12”s people don’t believe when I show em.
