Is there really a digital NV or IR that is worth buying? The lag time on them is between 1 to 8 seconds. So whatever you're shooting at isn't there anymore. Most of them are just video cameras with their IR filter removed, anything you can 'record' through is garbage. Edit: I just don't believe that $80 has optical zoom at all. Most Chinese cameras claim to have optical zoom yet it's all digital, they'll just brand the digital zoom before distortion as 'optical' - where as optical means you are physically moving a lens to change the zoom of the device, which from the sounds of it these do not do.
Awesome comparison! I've been looking at getting into some digital night vision. The NVG10 looks like an interesting competitor to the PVS14!
I was so confused earlier but your spreadsheet helped me clear all the doubts
Glad it was helpful! Got many more spreadsheets like this one coming soon!
How do you get your footage from the nvg10 I just got one recently and I’m a little unsure how to use it
Where is the best place to buy the NVG 10?
This is my website - goodnitegearshop.com/products/nvg10-ir-tactical-night-vision-monocular-with-helmet-%F0%9F%8C%95 with coupon US10 to save 10%
@@UrbanSurvivor thank you I hate ordering from China . Takes forever for them to get the items .
Yeah usually they arrive to my US customers in 3-5 days@@46camper50

So the lag time on all of these devices are at most a few tenths of a second. None of them are that bad. Yeah all of these devices have digital zoom.
