Your sketchbooks are an insight into the mind of an artist. How you see beauty and how you reacted to it. Thank you. Yes the film is a sumptuous artists dream:)
Maybe your sketchbooks aren't as "cohesive" as other TH-cam artists' ones are, but that's what makes your video more authentic - you showcase your amazing skills without giving us a carefully curated, "perfect" presentation of your work (even though I'd say every sketch you've shared is perfect in my eyes). You are so talented!
My favorite thing about this tour is how many times the words "embarrassed" and "practice sketch" come up, whereas a lot of "sketchbook tour" videos show nothing but polished, finished works like a mini gallery exhibit. Here you show experimentation and progress. I have a lot of favorites, particularly from your first book. I was thinking how much I liked @2:38 when you said you hated it. It looks like @2:22 is the same subject. I think these both look great. I also like the "blue hair" pastel studies @1:47 and @2:08, and the one of Karolina @2:18 which I hope she'll see someday. The Degas study @2:29 and the mangled ballet shoes @3:04 are both interesting. As a painting, the latter might make a good still life. The nude study @4:19 reminds me of many full-sized monochrome paintings by Carly Renee in Australia. I like how you zoomed in on your Procreate pics to emphasize the areas of interest. Maybe I'll try something similar if I ever figure out how to do a tour of my many digital art attempts. I think you layer colors in an interesting way to get lighting effects and moods, and this tour shows really well how that style has developed over time.
I did feel a little nervous about showing experimental work that I’m not completely proud of but the lovely comments I’ve received have made it feel very rewarding! You are right about the two portraits being the same subject, it is Jane French in the film ‘L’amant’! I’m very lucky that Karolina did see the drawing and left a sweet comment when I posted it on instagram:) You should definitely share your digital art, it’s always so interesting to learn how other artists work😊
@@izzywebberart I'll have to check out that movie. I do somewhat reluctantly share my least embarrassing pics on IG, while I try to figure out how to make my first art video.
That was a fun look into your books. Quite good for "scribbles"😊. I liked the quick live model sketches most. There's something about pen and marker sketches that always grabs my interest 🤔. Thank you for making the video. We look forward to seeing more.
Who created Humans, Sometimes I cannot go away with this thought of how beautiful the Creator will be. Everything around us is for a reason, we have to just pay attention. Some of your sketches were very beautiful. thanks for sharing.

"this is so ugly" Me: Practically the Mona Lisa In all seriousness I think looking into the artist process is really cool. Even if it's just scribles it has clear intent and you can see that. Your work is really great you have a lot to be proud of 😊

Thanks for your feedback! I’m glad you liked it, I was a little nervous to share but I’ve had such lovely comments ❤️
Exactly. REAL sketchbooks. Sketchbooks are for practice and experimentation for me. I prefer 'the art of the imperfect'.
Lovely works of art in your sketchbooks.Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 🫶
I definitely like to watch your videos. Nothing has to be perfect or the same as others. I like the way how you represent your art.
Thanks a lot! I’m glad you enjoy them 🫶
