Nice trees, the leaf tips browning looks like the feeder roots are drying out a bit. Probably don't need fertilizer, but for sure add 2-3 inches of mulch (wood chips) or 5-6 inches of fallen leaves, that will help the feeder roots retain moisture between watering.
@@GrowsGoneWild Yes, greensand for that chlorosis. It should give you more fruit. Or a quick fix with molasses water. I would use both. If you have some trees near you, you might try digging around for some red-looking dirt a couple of inches down, that will give you some free iron amendments. A little watered-down pee might help too.
@@GrowsGoneWild One last point, if your soil is too acidic, it will also lead to chlorosis because the roots won't be able to uptake iron, so remember to give them limestone too.
@@mauricelee2404 thank you for watching! Yes all in pots. The ones in their 3rd year went from 5g to 25g pots. The ones on their second year from small tree liners, to 5g, to 15g. I think 25g is the minimum if you want to have a decent harvest. But not sure how long they will be happy in there.
@@BillsTropicalFruits hello Bill! It depends on the temperatures. Around 85-90F I will water probably once a day, 90-100F twice a day, and above they possible 3 times, depending on how dry they get. I am hand watering, but if I had drip irrigation I’d probably run it a couple minutes every hour in the intense heat 🤣
@@FAST3RCA been eating some Chico recently. The fruit in the rest aren’t ready. The tiger tooth I grafted in spring outgrew the 5g and is in a 15g pot. It’s growing like crazy!
How awesome......looking good sir!
@@chrisinsley5880 thank you 🙏!

Those are some great-looking trees. Good job...
@@vegardno thanks so much!
they might have enough fertilizer. You might try some greensand or molasses water to increase iron and minerals. It is all about maintaining balance.
Never heard of green sand before 👀. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the video. Nice healthy trees. You planted all your avocado in pots? From your experience, what is the suitable size of pot for avocado?

hi, by your estimation how many fruits do you average on the 25 gallons ?
@@mychal4895 between 10-50 depending the tree. Some are growing more aggressively than others.
They look great!
@@growyourownavocados thank you! They didn’t take the heat wave too well tho 😂
Top pot is good , some leaves look pale green or yellow/green which is showing effects of being in pots and not in the ground.
@@RareAvoTrees yup, they might be outgrowing the pots finally.
Hello Mate
Your Avocadoes are doing really well in pots.
How often do you water your Avocado Tree's that hold fruits during Summer?
