  • We take a look at SMIK SUPs range of boards and compare the Paradox, Style Lord longboard and Hipster Twin to help you decide the right model for you.
The 10'3" Paradox is new to the UK market and is designed for both riders getting into SUP surfing and also those heavier weight riders over 90kg. It is stable, very easy to use and lightweight.
The Style Lord blends stability and performance perfectly. If you're after a longboard SUP that can do it all, then this is one of them.
The SMIK Hipster Twin has been turning heads ever since it was released. As one of the most versatile SUP surfboards on the market, it has been labelled the perfect Quiver Killer.

Great video! I have a Hipster Twin and a Spitfire. Very happy with them. I do find that i end up staying out heaps longer than before as they are so much fun to ride!

We have had them in some of our SUPboader Pro tests before. But we have an Escape Pod 100L and a Raceboard on there way to us now for review. So look out for those soon. Thanks Reuben

Thanks for the comment. We'll pass on this suggestion to Quatro to see if we can review their board.
If you are interested to know more about it, we had Quatro Pro in the Quiver Killer test on SUPBOARDER PRO: supboardermag.com/2023/09/17/quiver-killer-sup-surf-test-2023-supboarder-pro-head-to-head/

Hi. Could you recommend any iSUP for surfing if my weight is 100 kg. I am living on a baltic sea, sometimes here you can find some waves and start surfing the waves at least the small ones is my dream but I am afraid I am too heavy for this sport(

Hey, You aren't too heavy. You need to be looking for an iSUP that is 6" thick. Boards like the older starboard surf 9'5 would be a good board. Thanks Reuben

Did you compare the stability between Lord 28 width vs 27 width ?

We just reviewed one board from each model, not multiple widths. But the 27" would be slightly less stable than the 28". It's a fairly small drop in volume but the width does really play a factor in stability. Good thing is, the length also helps. Thanks, Beau
