@@jacobhersly9954 Its just pressing ZL +ZR +A when you watch a pokemon summary. You then go back and see that the menu is open. Dont close the menu, just walk in a battle. Then during the battle go to your box and take the first poke (the poke you want to clone) and set it in the box. then run. The last poke in your party is gone and you have the one your moved to your box still in the first slot in your party
Looked up this video to find a way to clone my pokeball magearna because I am afraid of losing it if something happens to my switch only to find out it can't go into this game...
Seems like this wont work on the 1.0 update either. The weird Lv 99 thing does still appear, but when trying to dupe the mon and after checking the summary, 3rd pokemon just reappears and the one you want to dupe, isnt duped. Weird.
Looks like the dupe glitch has been fixed with new update. Can’t move the box anymore when selecting to go into daycare slot. Kudos to them for being on top of it. The other menu glitch doesn’t seem to work anymore either.
Doesn't work for 1.0.0, gives the glitched out box but when checking the summary it'll just give you back the Pokemon you were trying to sacrifice for cloning. I swear whatever TF gamefreak added to their patches in the future really messed up the game because apparently the base game was NEVER this buggy, even the menu bug doesn't work here
If you still have software version 1.1.1 then you can do this. They removed the quick swap in the box list view options. 1.1.2 has the patch as well as anything after.

I don’t hate A-drive but it confuses me as to why someone who doesn’t like hacked/duped shinys to be covering a topic that influences people to do such said things.
Now this is a wierd theory, but would this not also work when using NPC in-game trades? It seems that this works because it lets you open multiple menus. NPC trades use the exact same method that the daycare does, and you should be able to use this method with NPC trades (given that you have the mon they want to trade for). Basically, should you use the abra trade in the city with the first gym, you should THEORETICALLY be able to use these steps to clone the same way. Mainly because both the daycare and NPC trades remove the selected mon once chosen, and they both open the menu without you doing so yourself. we would need someone to test this theory with an NPC trade first. Also, you should be able to copy items by simply removing them instead of taking the pokemon out of the battle party box. Youll have 3 of each (2 from the battle party, 1 from the PC), then get 2 of each mon (1 from battle box and 1 from PC)
Biggest tip he forgot to mention.... USE AIRPLANE MODE. You don't want this to get patch and your game automatically updates because it connected to the internet.
What I'm curious to know is if the clone Pokemon has the same Pokemon ID number? Or does the game recognize it as a separate Pokemon and give it a new designated ID number?
If I had to guess, I would assume it's the same ID. Not 100% sure, as I haven't done the glitch myself yet. But that would make the most sense. I would also assume the stats, ability, and nature are all the same too.

@@kodus6430 Oh, yeah, most definitely. I personally couldn't care less what people do with their games for single-player use. But once people start trading and using hacked/glitched mons online and in tournaments and stuff......yeah, it could definitely get your banned. I don't think people will have to worry about it much, unless their really stupid about it. But I personally wouldn't take any chances.

I’ve not done the glitch personally, but you might want to wait to update when a new one releases if you have. It might make your save files corrupted if they patch it and you update.

I HATE this. There goes the value of shiny Pokémon. I already got three shiny Pokémon traded to me easily. A shiny Dialga for a regular Pinsir. I knew something was fishy. So I looked up a cloning glitch and there it was. I instantly deleted the shiny Dialga and Turtwig and Piplup. Do people even care anymore.... Like if you agree I can't be the only one ffs
You’re not the only one my g. I put in hard hours for legit hunts wether it’s for battle Pokémon or shiny’s. The majority don’t put in that time and want a quick solution so they can have “the rare” which is obsolete with this method.
Shiny pokemon should only matter to yourself. There are so many ways to hack in shiny pokemon and then trade them in every generation so if you receive a shiny pokemon via wondertrade it is hacked/cloned almost always.
make sure your pokemon has its iteam befor you do the steps cuz if you add the iteam in the steps to cloning the pokemon it will reset your steps hope this make sense
I did this with my shiny empoleon in a ball capsule.. both Pokémon then appeared in the ball. When I deregistered one, it did both. Again when I reregistered one. Not sure how this affects things but might be a good idea to deregister pokemon first?
Hey aDrive. Could you consider making a guide video on the Underground Man in Eterna City and how to complete his missions? There are many people who are confused by the last mission he gives you where you have to dig a spot also being dug by another player. For some odd reason, despite finding a different colored light, it still doesn't complete the mission and the old man still doesn't think you've done it. Thanks in advance.

The time frame needed to mine with another online player when they are mining, YOU GOTTA BE RIGHT ON THE MARK! IF YOU'RE LIKE 10 OR MORE SECONDS LATE, IT DOESN'T COUNT! THAT IS FUCKING BULLSHIT! I’d like to see what would happen if you go into a battle with that glitched level 99 Pokémon. (Not taking it out of the battle box, instead using the registered team in a local battle for example)
It’s patched, when you talk To the daycare lady and try to swap the boxes it won’t let you. I’ve tried doing it so many times I backed out and it lets me do it but when you go and talk to her it will not so this method no longer works
I think they patched this because I press Y and the boxes don’t switch at all I hate the patches , first they mess with Pokémon moves making absol unable to learn psycho cut and none of the eevee evolutions can learn Toxic and now this.

Except for the fact that it effects other people when people take these exploited items/ Pokemon and share them. These are things that should exist on the users console and the users console only. They exploited THEIR game and it should STAY on their game. I paid $60 for my game and i want everything to be legit, and not obtained through exploits. I can't control whether or not a Pokemon/ item i receive in a trade is exploited. Therefore, other people's choice to exploit is affecting my choice. I hope they patch this soon.

Yup, when I touched it I got frozen. So best to avoid going anywhere near it besides the top just in case so you don’t mess it up.

It basically means dig with someone, where the light is sparkling white and that's all there is to it

you actually cannot look at it as once you hover over it the game softlocks and you have to reload it

I can't control whether or not a Pokemon/ item i receive in a trade is exploited. Therefore, other people's choice to exploit is affecting my choice.
I hope they patch this soon.

Does this glitch still work cause I can shift the boxes when I'm giving the pokemon to the daycare lady
So I did this before the post game was unlocked for me and now I can't unlock it at all (I have seen all 150 pokemon) is there anyway to undo this??? Because I am going to be seriously upset if I have to restart my game over this
Aren't there 151 pokemon you have to see to get the national dex?
