Kroniis commentary is more entertaining than the movie itself.
It doesn't take much though. I think it's better to say that Kroniis commentary has the ability to make the movie tolerable.

For the longest time, I had no idea that there was a Boss Baby Netflix series... that managed to run for a couple seasons!!
If she can make it through The Emoji movie, the Boss Baby is almost good by comparison.

Stupid memes aside, the most offensive thing about the Emoji movie its how it tries to convey that emojis are not only the ultimate global language, but also the most advanced one. It literally shills smartphone culture for children, glorifying emojis as the key for communication. Its downright reprehensible on its message.
Who needs a string of sentences to convey a particular sentiment or emotion that contain a certain level weight behind them. When I can just:"😜😂🤣😎", and get that same idea perfectly across. Thanks Sony for making a hour and a half brand chilling product to impart such an important message to us.
@@vohloo9797 Worse, Emoji movie tries to sell the message that somehow drawing happy faces started with smartphones. Or that smiling, or crying, and the meaning behind those facial expressions got only figured out recently, after emojis. In short, it tells the viewer "expressions were invented to simulate emojis" and not the other way around.

To dumb language down to the simplest, most lacking in nuance form where things are only 'good, plus-good, and double-plus-good' or 'ungood'. To limit the human mind's capacity for deeper reasoning by only allowing them the most simplified form of language and expression, effectively castrating their cognitive ability -- and with it their ability to question authority.

Though I've been looking at videos of regular joe people recorded in the 1920's and the eloquence in which they express themselves is far above that of what you see from people nowadays, mind you these were people well into their 80's. I wouldn't say that we'll reach that level of communication overnight, but if these trends keep happening I do believe that a couple of years down the line the level of literacy would be severely diminished.

Imagine the embodiment of time being so dead inside from watching a cursed movie that they want to check if there's any room up in space with Kars.
The real scary thing about this movie is that it not only broke even but actually made back more than 4 times as much as it took to make.
Not impressive at all when you count all the product placement payments. Because it's fucking Sony Pictures and they have absolutely zero interest in even pretending to have a sense of shame or dignity.

Ah yes, the "film" that took "corporate cash grab" to a whole nother stratosphere. I like how Kronii was silently taking in the horrors of all those pop songs being spammed into that one section. That's probably the least surprising thing about this movie xD
