- A major earthquake hit the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1.
Our place in Nagano Prefecture was also greatly shaken, but all of us are safe.
Thank you for your concern.
We pray for the safety of the victims and the earliest possible recovery.
Since Yuri's kindergarten started its winter vacation, we took a trip to the Hokushin area in Nagano.
We went to Obuse, famous for chestnuts, Nozawa hot springs, and to see snow monkeys soaking in the hot spring.
It was a trip of healing and spectacular scenery that made us want to visit again and again.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.
We bought the campervan of our dreams, the Corde Leaves, so that our daughter could have a variety of experiences!
We will enjoy our hobby of outdoor activities, such as camping, staying in the car, mountain climbing, and fishing, while traveling all over Japan.

It is so delightful to see you all again after the Earthquake in Isikawa district. Natural disasters is beyond our control. We pray for those who lost their life have peace in the next phase of life and those injured will have the fastest recovery and for those still alive must continue living and make the best of this life. That little RV is Awesome !!!
野沢温泉には子供の頃父親にスキーに連れて行ってもらった思い出の場所です。外湯はたしかに温度高いですが、水道もありますし、夕方とかならひともいるのでいい温度になってたりしますよ。あまり水を出すと地元の方に声をかけられる可能性もありますが、オススメなのでぜひユウリちゃんと一緒に入ってみてください😊

I loved the monkeys!! I was excited to see them as I have seen them in magazines and on TV. I had no idea they got so close to humans!
I am e tremely happy to see that visitors don't feed them. They will become agressive and dangerous if they learn that humans often have food.
