Great review! I do agree some parts of this felt rushed, and then some of book 2 felt slow, that's why I think this should have been a duology, and I bet like you point out the publisher probably pushed for it to be a trilogy!
Yea. It still came together great overall at least, so I'm pretty happy with it.
