Yeah Seen it frequently as I shunting power in RWP railway station when I had to travel on railcar approximately 4-5 years ago I used to recognize it as "do lighton wala engine😂"
The mechanical life of these locomotives have since been expired since long ago after that period their maintenance expenses increases but they have removed from the running lots of Pakistan railways very late which Surely gave a huge Monterey losses to Pakistan railways however it is a superb video

Needs urgent infra upgradn accdg to current rail speed and traffic. In India, 90% routes were electrified and the rest wd be completed within this year.
Considering how old these are, it's surprising how many places still have them. ALU95 are DL531, so their relatives still work in Australia (various private operators), Brazil (Transnordestina at least)... I haven't seen pictures of the lone example in Peru for a long time, so it's probably gone. ALU12 are RSD35, and their relatives still work in Bangladesh(?), Argentina, Chile, Peru, Spain(?) (maintenance companies), and everywhere the Indian YDM4 went (though those are generally newer).
ALU 12 can still be seen in India. In India it is called YDM 4 and they are used on Meter Gauge Rail Network. But in Pakistan they are modified to run on Broad Gauge. That's why it looks small with the BG coaches.
