For our fourth question to the pastors at DHBC, Rebecca B. asks how we approach non-canonical texts?
In a recent blog post, Pastor Robb wrote about the burial of Moses and why the Bible would incorporate something non-canonical into the sacred text. Here, Pastor Robb was asked to explain the difference between Apocrypha, Deuterocanonical, and Pseudepigrapha literature and whether there is any danger or value to a Christian in reading them alongside the Bible; and if there is some value, how these writings should best be approached.
