Pay to make new road, than pay to fix pothole, then pay to fit speed bump, then pay to fix speed bump... then pay to put speed camera... and 24/7 cctv... then average speed camera... JUST MAKE IT GRAVEL ROAD!! It is cheap, weatherproof and comes with build-in speed bumps!
Local councils too busy paying chief executive thousands in pay and pension to care. A law should be passed to guarantee smooth surfaces and better repairs.
@ REC Anything What is your target market/ Target audience? curious how does customers actually buy this? if they do buy this. Can they actually put it to use?
It's alright for JCB to quote " councils will benefit " but most councils don't even bother fixing road defects and if they did they'd need around 8 machines per council / county
This is too quick smart ecological economic hassle free and just far to well thought out for any government council to even embrace mentally they need slow cumbersome problematic and time consuming to even contemplate.
This machine is useless, i operate the jcb 3cx compact and that alone is far too big for pot hole repairs, you can't fit these machines anywhere on our roads, the 3cx is huge and you can't even see the cheap chinesium planer from the cab, this one is even worse it would be a nightmare to operate on uk roads, i've been operating machines for 30yrs and these are an absolute waste of money, jcb will benefit cos only the councils are stupid enough to buy this thing, save your cash and invest in a Bobcat or Gehl.
It has baffled me for years why the council pays people to fix pot holes by just filling them in 5 or 6 times a year for years on end instead of cutting the problem area out like this machine does. I don't know if its lazy council workers and the people in charge given instructions to "fix" pot holes in this way.
Maybe its lazy people who don't think critically and keep electing council members who are more interested in the interests of companies who are employed by local government rather than the interests of the people.
State of the roads near me, I'd be better of using this as my daily commute.
Bring this to Nottingham ASAP. I’d say at least 70% of the roads here need ripping up here & relaying. That’s me being generous too…
What do you do for compacting the new tarmac? Thought you only needed one machine?
Good point maybe they roll it with the tyres I've seen that done lol.
Can a pressure wash pump up your tyre's 🤦🤦🤦
They use a small two wheeled sit on road roller.
Run that by battery power? no hope! This machine just done my road, it's a fantastic bit of Kit.
You know you live in a country with shitty roads when they actually have to make a machine just for pothole repairs
Good one mate! 😀
Wouldn't mind operating that at work.
👍

Can one of these be sent to Cambridgeshire County Council please? Our roads have potholes the size of caves 😪
that one on the Milton interchange is rage inducing if you dont see it in the dark!
The council could purchase one for £180,000 pounds from JCB or rent for £600.00 pounds a week
How many have sold in the last year? How happy are those clients?

Price?
With jcb finance there near 200k
Rod Stewart wants this

Is it a Schwarzenegger?
What council is going to pay for a machine at that expense
Is he an AI or a robot?
What do you mean?
Learnt hand arm vibration syndrome exists😐
This'll never happen....I'm gonna buy or build a small Hovercraft 🤔👍🏼😁👍🏼

And then they fill it with shit tar that lets in water and it all breaks up again.
That's the point...to make money next year too 😄
@@recanything i didnt understand that before but now i do.
Cant see my council buying one of these. They'd rather save the money for new ugly sculptures than spend the money on infrastructure.

You know you live in a country with high labor cost when they actually have to make a machine just for pothole repairs
😅😅😅 well said my friend!
Bloody hell, god forbid somebody wanting to earn a decent living. Perhaps we should just doff our caps and be grateful eh?
What high labour costs? Wages have never been lower in this tory infested shite hole
