    I am in the process of assembling my Onefinity Journeyman Elite. I also got my spindle (220v and water cooled) from PWNcnc.. Thanks for your videos!

    I'm assembling my elite foreman. Did you have riser blocks on your rails? Much appreciated you ongoing assistance. Now that I'm doing this too, I have a better understanding of what you had to do. I very much appreciate you taking the time to document this especially now that OneFinity changed how they ship the machine.

      My Foreman came with the risers not installed. I believe it was in a box in the large square box. Feel free to message me on Facebook at Pleasant Woodworks if you need help.

    Enjoyed the video, thank you and thank you to your wife. My wife and I do woodworking together and very much enjoy it. We are planning on a CNC soon. It was going to be (spelling) Shaepoko 5 Pro, but I understand they have QA issues, so looking to buy the Onefinity Elite as well. Sadly local code won't let me have a non-GFCI outlet, so Makita router for us it is. None the less, looking forward to making cool stuff. More please!

      @@Pleasant_Woodworks I found them they were exactly in the box you mentioned, thank you! Your assembly is very detailed. You mention that you talk too much, not at all. While I was assembling mine, I just let your video run in the background, the pace was perfect and allowed me to follow. You also helped me from a lot of head scratching given I'm a more visual learner so thank you. I know how much time it takes to video, it slows the process down. Looking forward to your projects. I'm teaching my daughter CNC, so this is going to be a lot of fun, she has many projects planned. You too can follow us at " The Project Dreamers" TH-cam channel. It's her channel, I'm just a helper with some of the projects. Subscribe she would appreciate it and we will be showcasing our projects as well.
      Again, I can't thank you enough. Onefinity is an excellent machine, I have used others, this one is the best home hobby CNC.

    Did you have a list of tools that you used? I noticed you stopped and got some extensions for the drill. Good work on the install.

    • @Pleasant_Woodworks
      @Pleasant_Woodworks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately I don’t have a list. Everything I used is in the video. I had hex screw drivers from harbor freight and I went back to harbor freight to get hex bits. Just make sure to have from 2.5mm to 4mm I think.

      66”x66”. Thank you for the compliment.

    Great video. I'm jealous of your custom built steel bench. We're supposed to take shipment of the same machine this week, but I still haven't sorted out whether I want to build a custom bench, or buy a Kreg workbench and be done with it. Either way, the atc kit for it won't be coming until September, so I have a little time to figure it out.

    • @Pleasant_Woodworks
      @Pleasant_Woodworks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Congratulations on the machine. I considered the kreg but my friend told me he could build a better bench for the same amount I just have to make him a sign for the labor lol. I decided to go with that because I’ve seen many kregs wobble and shake and require modifications.

      Interesting. I thought they did but mine came in a small box instead the big box with the controller.

      @OnefinityCNC 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We changed that long ago because motors were getting damaged in shipping.

    So im on the fence right now with which cnc to get. Im leaning towards the one you got. Is it 220 or 110 volt? Im totally new to cnc, hows the learning curve on the software for a first timer?

    • @Pleasant_Woodworks
      @Pleasant_Woodworks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My cnc is 110v. I believe they ship them wired for what country you are in. For me the learning curve wasn’t bad coming from laser software. However I’m still learning tricks with cnc design. For a first timer I highly recommend TH-cam for learning. That’s what I’ve done when I know what I want to happen but unsure how to do it. Feel free to message me on Facebook at Pleasant Woodworks if you have more questions. Thanks for the comment.

      @@Pleasant_Woodworks ok thanks for the reply. Subscribed to the channel. Im in texas so should come as 110. Also did u get the 80mm spindle? Looks like cost wise ill be looking at around 6000.00.

    • @Pleasant_Woodworks
      @Pleasant_Woodworks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I got a 80mm air cooled 110v spindle from Pwncnc. I believe all together was around $6500 for everything I got including having my table built (I just paid for the steel). I would highly recommend getting a steel table made so it doesn’t flex as the machine is working.
