    After ten minutes of dogfighting you'd think you and the rebels had taken out the entire Black Hand air force.

      It seems the Blackhand have a massive military budget with their overseas operations lol

      They have 8,378,273 aircrafts...if you don't take into account infinite re-spawns.

      @LB14745 Okay, that's genuinely impossible, even by the most broken video game logic possible. No rogue group like the Black Hand could support that many aircraft. The entire planet, if every country were first-world, with fully functioning militaries, would not be able to man or maintain even 1% of that many military aircraft.

    One thing about this game I think is really underappreciated is how much smarter the enemy AIs are compared to previous games, hell even games in general...
    It's very rare for AI enemies to be smart enough to engage aerial combat with the player, and here, they can actually kill you if you don't concentrate and adapt your tactics...

    • @jot1774
      @jot1774  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah after the update which improved vehicle combat AI, its quite impressive indeed, one of the few open world games where doing air combat against AI can be quite fun

      Actually... they're good but don't deal much damage, the highest risk is to crash onto them

      I disagreed, though...
      Based on the examples in frontline, Rico can literally died in seconds if the players weren't careful.
      When you have a tank, the enemies spawned in aerial units or even fighter jets that ground artilleries couldn't effectively counter, and those combat drones were even worse threats...

      Well it’s also retarded because every 10 seconds you go out of their sight a new jet spawns close enough to where it can start shooting within seconds. Unlike the last game you never win you only can run away which in a plane is impossible. At least in just cause 3 if you killed them fast enough they can’t call for reinforcements. In the 4th game you can’t even do a successful “mission” without being followed all the way home by a constant spawn of jets.

    It was the year 2004,the rebel forces had already conquered Solis but the origination known as the black hand wasn't giving up and fighting to the end to take Solis back.

    Ace flying for sure. Great camera and fighter control. Both are fun, but definitely takes skill to take them out with machine guns, about 10x harder I'd say. Looks like the air brake and boost help keep them in sight a lot. What kind of controls were you using, a joystick?

    So there are actual enemy jets AI in the game now? That's one of my biggest complains of Just Cause 2 and 3

    • @jot1774
      @jot1774  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A bit late on the reply, but yeah. The AI is actually pretty alright too, they try and do manuevers and evade you if you are behind them and try and get on your tail. When you are on the ground the Thunderhead Bombers will even try to drop bombs on you.

  • @a0001521

    I just picked this game up recently on sale and I initially avoided it because of bad reviews.
    I feel like I'm the minority who ended up enjoying this game way more than I should, for it has more carefree sandbox nature Just Cause 2 was known for, in which I could start causing trouble anywhere and enemies could respond accordingly with some pretty impressive combat AI and lots of explosions.
    Although I would prefer outpost liberation would come back in some shape or form, but not in way that it would literally make enemies disappear after taking over an outpost.

    • @jot1774
      @jot1774  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah i think the hate mostly stems from the fact that JC4 is not like the older JCs and the fact that Base Liberation being gone. I do agree with the general consensus tbh, I think the actual "progression" of this game is incredibly boring especially compared to JC3 which did progression much better imo, there it actually felt like you were getting better stuff as you did challenges and co. In 4 its kind of like whatever, the story itself is not something i really related to, the sidemissions were meh to me aswell and the freeroam challengers (fly through x/drive through x gate) were terrible compared to the Jc3 Races/Derbies/Scrambles and co. Despite all that i still ended up putting 540+ hrs in JC4, i think alongside JC3 its my most played singleplayer game now. The main reason is as you already mentioned: Where the game lacks in base liberation and overall progression activity, it more than makes up for it, when it comes to the pure sandbox potential, no JC before it did sandbox as good as JC4 and having Heat/the military after you is so much more fun and varied unlike the older games. Since now the military uses all kinds of stuff against you Land, Sea and Air. 95% of my gameplay is just freeroam fucking around and fighting Blackhand lol.

      @@jot1774 The progression to me is "inoffensive" since it no longer takes a loading screen to start, but I think it's boring yeah and way too grindy before I could even get any new tether mods
