He just called you not a content creator, this endeavor was sponsored by ridge but he likely didn't complain because there's definitely worse things a sponsor could ask you to do (like dig through a box full of glass shards) and the gold plating is an improvement on this truck because it is not built in a way where rust is a non-concern and Ms. Gold will definitely reduce the risk of rust being a problem
Just like chrome plating the more care you take preparing the surface the better the final result will be. Personally I would have fine polished the stainless steel before the gold plating and then would have added a few more coats of gold plating polishing the surface between each coat, that would give a deep gold shine. As a finish possibly spray a self leveling clear coat to protect it.

@@Shylocksis Most of the issues got fixed already. But how surprised are you that a brand new architecture didn't launch without issues? I'm not trying to find excuses for them, I would certainly expect any manufacturer to sell stuff that actually works, and doesn't break down soon after purchase, but we've seen this from many manufacturers when they launched something brand new. And especially from Tesla, who push the limits frequently, I expect potential issues by default with new models. This is why getting one after release feels to me just like pre-ordering some AAA game just because it looks promising - only to bump into bugs on top of bugs. For the average consumer, it's just not worth it. For those willing to take risk for the sake of being the first, it obviously is worth it. I'm totally fine with any manufacturer releasing stuff that is 100% ironed out, as long as they mention that. But in the case of Cybertruck I think anyone with a semi-functioning brain would expect some issues from the get go. That's why I don't feel sorry for those who bought the truck, whether they knew what they were getting into or not. That said, Tesla is also faster than most to fix their issues, both in hardware and software. That's one of the reason some people are willing to put up with imperfections, and that's one of the reasons why they lead in customer satisfaction and retention. I wish we didn't have to complain about issues like these. But when you see even Ford mess up, despite over 100 years of experience, you shrug and move on. One thing is for sure, despite its shaky launch, the Cybertruck will become reliable and become very popular. And that's because the engineers at Tesla always find ways to address issues and improve their work. They certainly work differently compared to the legacy auto makers, but they also do a great job.
We all left feedback in what went wrong and how bad it looked in the first video, and so they decided to cover it in water to mask just how bad thud thing looks for the second video hahahaha.
