Old Andover Photos on video. Credit Douglas Stevens. Part 2.

The following slides were saved from landfill by a friend of mine. The photographer was Douglas Stevens and I have kind permission from his daughter to show them here. They are fantastic old photos and it would have been a shame to lose them. Hope you enjoy them. .

Thank you for taking the time and effort to preserve these memories of Andover in the past. It would have been a great loss if these photos had been destroyed. There are a lot of memories here for me in seeing these.

Fantastic photos There are plenty of Andover town centre from pre-1973 but hardly any from the second stage of redevelopment in the late eighties so these are great, thank you.

Thank you so much for making the viewing of these slides possible. I love seeing very old photos of Andover but these are more special to me, as they were taken in my lifetime time. Make me quite teary, actually!

Looked better in the 80’s than it does now. Council have ruined the town.
