Giving this heated beard brush a try from Kuschelbar. I was curious to know how it worked on a coarse beard that curls up very easy. Is it worth the $100 price tag? It depends on the individual and how often you would use it. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the review, you just saved me some money, i don’t like how they advertise “ get rid of your messy curly beard” my coils represent my roots.
ANTHONY LOCKHART price point is up there. But like I said to each is own. Some guys may need this brush more than I would. I never really liked the “fake length” so I just rock mines natural. 👊🏽💯
Yeah that advertising is straight BS!
Yeah I never liked how they said that. It comes off a lil disrespectful to me. There calling our Beard "Messy" not because its dirty or somethin like that, but callin it that because its curly. Im straight on that. But I get why they made it tho. To each its own I guess
Charles Turner no doubt bro. Definitely to each is own. I don’t need it really. The fake straight look for length has never been my mojo. Even using a blow dryer a few times. It was ok but I always just go back to natural 👊🏽💯
@@Bdacht Whaddup Doe!!!!! Yeah Bro I cant get wit it. My hair in the from is real straight for some reason. All of a sudden Its like real stringy straight lookin 😂😂😂 But yeah I aint knockin it. I jus dont like how they advertised it. Im still tryna get to that Detroit Grooming Store but they're always closed before I get off work. I dont like buying online but I guess Ima have too. Keep doin ya thang bro. #313 #Detroit
Thanks for the review for Black men. Appreciate it!!!
Bluecity no doubt bro. I was definitely curious to see how it effected our beard texture. 🍻👊🏽💯
BDACHTisALPHA yeah we have more texture and like most hair products for women these brushes are not designed with the African-American men in mind. I’ve looking for a good brush. Thanks for the video.
Bluecity no doubt bro. Thanks for watching 👊🏽💯
It is the same this as the hot comb and they put grease on the hair before. We need to as well. Straight out the shower, get most of the water out the beard, oil it then use heat brush.
I see it straitening your beard some. It would be nice to know how much length I really have sometimes. Don’t think I need it. I’ll roll how we do. 👊🏽. Glad to see someone use it that has my texture. Great video
Beard Hussle thanks bro. Yeah I can’t use it in a regular if at all. But was curious on my texture beard 💯👊🏽
Good review...thanks for being concise. Sold me on it.
Great review Bdacht! Thanks for sharing! 👊
Thanks bro 👍🏽💯👊🏽
Is this healthy for to beard.?
I used one of those. I was hoping this was a different better one. It left my junk burnt and crispy. I had to shave it and start over. I'm glad it was a 1 tome deal because if you had followed that one guy's advice and wet your beard first, you'd have seen a lot more smoke and it'd sizzle. What was that guy thinking? Never comb a dry beard, but you don't wet it and put a hot comb on it.
Not sure. I’ve never seen the video. Just oil on beard as a heat shield is basically all you need. I just didn’t like the end result and fake length. My beard is full and I love the curly texture length. But I definitely wanted to give this tool a try for you guys, so you all can make your own decision. 💯🍻
@@Bdacht yeah, curly texture is growing on me. After 15 months it's starting to elongate, but it'd be nice to find something to cheat and easily tame that pain in the butt under neck garbage. 🤣 Appreciate ya.
@@TheSlickIzzy yeah all of us coarse beard brothers have that issue. Best advice is to let it grow and keep it conditioned and picked out. It will eventually have some volume and length underneath. 💯👊🏽🍻
I would recommend this as a once in a while thing
I have to see more video's of this product on hair like ours. Not many bearded black men doing video's on this
Kai Davis yeah I think a lot of us embrace our natural curls and coarse beards. I see where it added length by straightening the hair from the heated pull. But not really the look I go for. 💯👊🏽
Man your beard looked better before yeah I'm mexican and when I try the heat combs they just dont give us the same result i got a super curly beard. Our beards just look better natural. Oil balm or butter and a trim and we're good. Great video.
No doubt bro. I feel the same. I like to just comb it out and pat it down after my butter and oil. 💯🍻👊🏽
Thanks for the video homie. I'm glad that you did this. I thought about doing the same video just to do it but that heat scares me!
You can definitely see that it made your chin hair, which is kind of straight, even more straight but it did not look like it did much much for the curlier hairs on your face and neck. To me, that's a no go cuz it takes away the volume that a thick curly beard gives you 🤷🏾♂️. Thanks again for the video homie 👊🏾🧔🏾
LumpVision no doubt bro. I definitely saw that and I showered right after and did my routine. Took my beard about 2 days to feel like normal. So I could only recommend it to guys with straight beards or guys who just want some added length to the beard for an occasion. Definitely not daily 👍🏽💯👊🏽
Great video you got them beard gains💪🏾🧔🏾💯
Allen Hammond thanks bro 🍻👊🏽
Hi. Have you tried using it consistently? Do you know if it causes bear breakage? Thank you.
MorningLightMountain unfortunately I didn’t. I still own it, but after the first time using it, it took a few days for my beard to bounce back. Overall I don’t suffer from much breakage in general. Just shed here and there. 💯👊🏽
Btw, great beard. It looks healthy. Thanks for the advice as well
👊🏽💯
👊🏽💯
Years ago, I gave up on using a hair drier with heat on my beard. Left me feeling dry and crispy. And I always got many split ends even with low heat. A heat brush just sounds like even more heat damage for an afro textured beard.
No doubt. It was a one and done, I just wanted to showcase it for men with coarse beards. Some guys have a difficult time getting length on their beard, and will resort to something like this in situations. It’s definitely nothing I would recommend personally for my texture beard but I respect anyone that wants to give it a try etc. 💯👊🏽🍻
If you take care of your beard and keep it hydrated heart damage shouldn’t ruin it
@@markblue6464, the reason why I used to heat blow dry my beard was to quickly dry it before going to work. Not to get it straight. My hair tends to be high porosity. Dry heat dehydrates my beard no matter what. Over time the damage cannot be repaired and need to get cut off. Now my beard is very healthy and it grows long. If I was to pull it down, it almost touches my navel now. Most of the time I keep it in a loose bundle protective style and rarely leave it loose because it can get in the way. I like to work with my hands.
You suppose to use beard balm to protect from heat
Ok not too bad good video bro 👊
robert jordan thanks bro. Yeah it’s cool if you want that nice stretched out beard for a few hours if u stepping out. My hair curls right back up after a few hours. 👊🏽💯
Nice
BDACHT, was up! Did I hear you say that you are in Cali now? Welcome, my brotha. Why the big change?
Also, I’m going to hit you up on your IG dm. I need to ask you some questions. Great video.
Robert Jones thanks bro. Yeah I’m here now. Just time for change bro. One life to live 👊🏽💯
BDACHTisALPHA
I hear ya. I’m up in LA. PB was my old stomping grounds back in college. Might have take a road trip down there and have a beer with ya.
Robert Jones oh ok that’s cool yeah I doubt 💯👊🏽

Were you sponsored for this video? I just happen to watch you review last night, then this morn i saw this video being used in an advertisement for Beard Warehouse.
What up doe like the video but i think that heat may be too much on your beard to try and recover from. Conditioner, oil, balm is the routine. Thanks for the review
illuzeweb much appreciated bro. Agreed 💯👊🏽
Bro you should have added a little beard oil to your beard to prevent toasted feeling!
Toney Parker yeah I figured it was still some in there from day before. Maybe next time. I Sybil think heat to my beard isn’t my joint 💯👊🏽
They do nice but heat to hair is not good
Where’d you grow up? I can heard accents, south definitely, nola?
JohnHali Michigan
I was thinking this was a Brotha from the South too.
Claiming it, FIRST!
Same thing I said with my last girlfriend....I sadly found out I was 45th!!
Dude you should moisturize your beard first! Never apply heat without moisturizing first!!
My regular routine was done before using the brush. Oil etc, hence the smoke. It was basically a test of the tool. I don’t use it anymore. Was a one time use 💯🍻👊🏽
If you saw my beard straight out the shower, you’d say I had a “brother” beard lol. I don’t use these, feels like it does to much damage. If I straighten my beard any, my routine is. Oil, let it soak in about 5 min. Then blow dry and brush simultaneously. Then I’ll add some balm or butter for conditioning the actual hair. I believe Bearded existence said something like “if your beard don’t go back to its normal state after washing then it’s damaged” I believe that. My beard can be straight all day, after a shower though, it’s poofy and curly. Since I’m rocking the no trimmed look except for mustache, cheek lines, and fading the sideburns,I try to have it straighter. That’s why I use that hair dryer and brush combo.
Garrett Bailey no doubt. Definitely took a few days to get back to the way I like it. But for the sake of the video it was cool. To give u guys a look at it on a coarse beard. That’s what I’m here for.💯👊🏽
Ok but what about us Dudes with "REAL" nappy beards? My curls are so tight ;that I have spaces in my beard, and my shrinkage is SO Unfair. (peasy beard issues)Can anyone direct me to a Demo video on that?? Cause if this ^^ is "Coarse" WTF is mine ?? LOL
Trini4th I would recommend a good beard conditioner daily and just allow the beard to grow for coverage of the spaces. Genetics play a major role in our beards. I have a course beard, it’s just a full beard so it’s easier to have coverage. I condition it daily and use a quality beard oil and butter. Hope this helps brother 💯👊🏽
@@Bdacht Bruh aint no conditioner on this planet gonna change my "African" texture lol. My beard's long ,but it still draws up; to tight lil pea curls haha. I'll keep searching but thanks fo ur response *black fist*
That's for guys with straight hair .. not for the brothers. Will do more damage than good..
louisbynoe82 long term for sure 💯👍🏽👊🏽
You should use essenceandbloom.com beard oil it smells and works so good!
Rashida Carbo no doubt. I may check them out. 💯🍻
BDACHTisALPHA Thank you for the support!
Looks like it doesn’t work
That’s some country ass stuff if I ever saw it. A hot comb for your beard to be straight. My people still trying to be white lol
Khalif Price who wants a raggedy ass beard? It don’t even look clean and professional especially for certain jobs
Some blacks folks just like to over do the pro black thing. I guess we should walk looking like we just got out of bed because it’s the “natural look” why even cut out hair then ? He’s acting as if there isn’t videos on here of white guys also straighten their beard too.. nobody wants a roughed up looking beard.
Just an option for men bro and my opinion. When you watch the entire video, you will see that in my opinion it’s not the tool for me. I appreciate your feedback 🍻💯👊🏽
You’re way off, this has nothing to do with that
You was here just like the rest of us watching the video idiot Mr so black blacker than black
Bruh Read the instructions 🤣
Tru Credo maan I cant see them to read them 😂👊🏽 👀
