Thankyou so much for watching Chrissie ✌️ I’m glad you enjoyed it & it gave you the thrifting feels haha 😉 I wish you a wonderful bank holiday weekend 🙌
I do see the value of niching down, but at the same time. If those were my categories and I didn’t find any games or football boots. I wouldn’t just leave and try the next place, when I know there is most likely something else that hold value and is worth reselling. Ideally I’d love to have just games and collectables, but I haven’t quite cracked a solid source for this just yet 👌 would you say you’ve experienced more sales / return buyers since niching down? 🤔
@@liamsellsretro that’s great to hear! I hope they continue to be plentiful for you. I’ve got access to a cheap source but it’s all sorts of stuff that comes through. But the plan is to slowly niche more towards games, collectables, retro & vintage etc. have a lot of stock to get through tho 😅
Hehe, I’ve been able to detach myself from the fomo. And now get the buzz when I see sales. Don’t get me wrong, I still love bringing home a bag full of goodies! But it’s important to keep ourselves in check and reprioritise the business from time to time 🙂
Hi, how easy or difficult is it to start an ebay reseller business? How do you provide receipts to HMRC if you buy things from carboot, Facebook marketplace etc. I really want to start selling stuff on ebay and this is the kind of stuff, that's stopping me. I welcome any tips/advice. Thanks
Hiya! Firstly my apologies for the delayed response! Thankyou for checking out my video and for leaving a comment. I totally appreciate the question and remember having the same worries before I got more into it. It’s as easy or difficult as you make it out to be. It takes effort to do and requires you to manage your income & time efficiently for it to work well. We all have different life circumstances, bills and things to work around so your search situation is unique. I recommend starting with things in your own home or possession that you no longer want, use or enjoy. Test the whole thing out that way before you come to investing into stock for the purpose of reselling. Start small and gradually build up as your confidence grows with it 🫡 For HMRC and the tracking of income side of things, don’t let this worry you too much. There are many ways to stay on top of this and track everything as it happens. I have kept physical receipts of everything I’ve bought and sold. And I’ll be honest have never needed to actually share the receipt itself. But I have used them to add up and calculate the amount I’ve spent and earned each month, in the past. Now I use an app called “Mettle” it’s a business banking app that’s apart of NatWest Bank. With each purchase phase you make on there you are able to attach a photo of the receipt & the stock to track what that money has been spent on. When using cash for carboots and marketplace etc. you can withdraw the cash from your buisness account and then attach the photos to the withdraw to show what the money has been spent on. Simple and easily done in seconds 🫡 You can also use an additional free service called “FreeAgent” to track all income expenses, cash flow and operating profits and so on. But I completely understand how you are feeling, it seems daunting at first, but take it step by step to learn each part of reselling and you will have less chance of becoming overwhelmed. You don’t need to do any tax or bookkeeping etc until the end of the year and you have to have sold things first! So get started and handle those things once the ball is rolling 🫡 I hope that helps, thanks again, all the best 🙌
Yeah I’ve noticed that correlation too 🤔 Perhaps it’s because of the combination between entertainment of playing & being educated at the same time? 🤷♂️
Great Video! Given me the itch to go out sourcing!

Thankyou so much for checking it out Rina. I really appreciate you giving it a watch 😊 I hope you have a wonderful week ahead ✌️
I do think its important to niche down as much as possible if you can. My focus is gaming & football boots.

@@TommyTrades96 Yeah my profit has increased by a huge amount, I've made some great contacts for football boots in particular.

I'm exactly the same, I know that I should list instead of going sourcing but I get major fomo 😂

Any business type games always seem to go for good money for some reason. 🤔
