This Level 1 Award Health and Safety qualification is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in construction. Successful completion will enable you to move on to take the CITB health, safety and environment test, and then apply for the new Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card. This card allows access to construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker.

So at the first I mean when we just booked for the cscs course which is cost 124.99 okay. So if we'll just filed at the test will the money gonna gone

So this is the online test. My mate said it was this. Bit why are the rules so strict. Specially with the headphones. Makes no sense. I have hearing probpems so i kind of need them. Also what if the speakers dont work. Stupid rules

If you've completed level 1 and passed along with the CITB test, you are entitled to a green card not a red card. Did you actually take the City & Guilds exam?
I’m just about to get results back for level 1 and have done citb test. Once I seen he had red card I’m scared incase boss isn’t happy with it.

This is a basic health and safety course that enables you to work on building sites. I doubt it'll be useful if you aren't in the UK. It won't be any useful for a visa application either. A curious to find out why you are interested in the course
Is it possible to apply without national insurance number?
No because that means you wouldn't be paying British tax on your earnings

Hi, it can take a couple of weeks for them to process your application. Give it another week and if you still have not heard anything, you can contact them directly.
ive only passed the health,safety and environment test and it says i can get a red temporarily card so why would i pay another 124 on the other test for the same red card?

Exactly the same situation as me . They can't be renewed. You basically have to re do the health, safety and awareness course on top of the health, safety and environment test. It's an absolute joke. That or pay over £1000 to get the relevant nvq needed for a blue card.

Hi Mohammed, the CSCS card would not help you learn bricklaying, however the card is necessary to be able to work on a building site.
I think your prices are out of date, even though your video is only 5 months old, it has just cost me £156 for the HS&E test & £43 for the CSCS test ....... maybe after then, i'll still have to pay for the card itself !!

I just booked my citb test for 43 pounds but do I have to book my hs&e test at the same time and is the hs&e test the same question as the citb ?
@@Shane9T5 I think you have to have your health and safety level 1 complete before sitting your test. Then you need to complete the citb test, which is pretty much the same questions again. Then you need to apply for your CSCS which costs money again.
If the card expires and there is no qualification, is it possible to make a red card again? Or retake the test and get it again?
The red card shown on the video is a provisional card, is only valid for 6months and can't be renewed. For the green card for labourers, it is valid for 5 years but can be renewed. You just need to do the training course and HSE test again before the expiry date.

Nobody seems to mention that a cscs card is not a legal requirement.
90% of sites won’t let you on though. It depends on the site manager for you to have one, as your more likely to know about the health and safety
@@declan_brant having recently obtained mine, I can safely say the exam you have to sit is about as basic as it gets. Should take you under 5 or 6 minutes. I did mine in 15 which included a pre test tutorial, going through the entire exam a second time to check answers and a post exam survey.

@@incorectulpolitic I bought a copy of the revision booklet for the level I was applying for. It is a CITB publication. The test is taken at a testing centre and is very easy.

You are eligible for a higher level of CSCS card, which is CSCS white Aqp card. It's a Academically Qualified Person card... While green CSCS card is a basic level of card and for the green card you have to do the additional one day health and safety course. For the white card you have to convert your civil engineering degree from uk naric..

It’s scam i have had 4 skilled work card got my SVQ level 2 18 years ago and can’t find certificate and because my card expired and I didn’t get new one within 2 years I need to sit a level 1 award as they say they need proof even though they actually know I’ve had multiple blue cards

Carl's card was just a temporary one which is why it is red.

Ive just completed 2 courses but its like a timeshare sells conference the selling never stops. There is also to much not explained before payment. Im Now with another supplier for the rest of qualifications that i wanted.
You are showing a red card but on the thumbnail you have a green card.
The red card was just a temporary card as they required proof I was working towards the relevant qualification to work on site.

These courses are a disgrace. Money making scheme! There’s currently 6 Moldavian ground workers/labourers who can’t speak English on our site, highly doubt they’ve went through all this current hassle. Once you pass the test that should be the end of it
