This and JSRF on one disk...name a more iconic duo😳
It truly made us understand… understand understand… THE CONCEPT OF LOVE
This has been stuck in my head for 20 years.
Same man, same.
this guy gets it
Good! It will live forever in you and through you!
Man of culture
I’m glad I’m not the only one haha
Finding this game years later with my little green Corolla still sitting in the garage.
Oh, not an orange Celica?
@@alexanderstormdahl2562 Dude that was always my go to starting car, that special orange one is incredible! I would kill to have one just like that in real life.
@@no-barknoonan1335 ikr
Picking between the green or orange corolla continues to be one of the toughest decisions for me 😂
My starter was always a dark green 1972 Celica
I play this song when I work on my truck 😂
Here goes my story. My pops and godfather bought me and Xbox original when I was 4 years old (2002) and it came with sega GT 2002 & jet set radio future. They bought me 2 extra controllers as well which made it 4 controllers. I would play the hell out of GT with my entire family. It was always my mom or dad that would come first lol. Next thing you know, my mom bought me the legit steering wheel for the game and man did it change everything! It was fun but dude, my mom was addicted meanwhile my sisters and I were trying real hard to keep up lol. Wing circuit A was our all time favorite and my mom help me beat the entire chronicles. How crazy is that? God, those were amazing memories.
You must be young.. the consoles I had when I was young was the ZX spectrum and Amiga 😄
I respect u but that Jet Set Radio Future game is the first game i ever played and its my most favorite game of all time. Good days. Hell yeah, sega gt is good and me and my brother played it but dude, JSRF had a lot of memories. So I respect you because yeah this is one of my most favorite games of all time, man I should tell my bro since he thinks i dont like these games lol.
Eric, same as me...I was 3 years old (2003) and amongst the first people to ever get my hands on an Xbox og over the whole world haha! I still remember my good ol' black Dodge Charger sitting in the garage...The thing I miss the most is probably the multiplayer and the splitscreen out of everything else. My cousin lived next door and he owned a PS2 with Gran Turismo 4, we'd just go to each other's houses and play the exclusives of each and enjoy them for what they were, absolute masterpieces.
:)
What made me most upset is that I never reached the Dodge Viper GTSR. I want that car so bad even to this day. 2-APR-21
Dude I remember the swag gt 2002 and jet set radio future disc, good times.
This is the song of my childhood
It's amazing how memories that you hadn't thought of in years flood back in an instant when hearing this track and you see yourself when you were a kid in front of the TV with the controller in your hand upgrading the exhaust, suspension, engine... Etc. as you prepare for another race.
@@josiahstearns9615 what was your go to starting car?
@@footballcenter3000 I always started with the '02 Peugeot 206 2.0 S16.
But my goal would always be to win/unlock the Caterham Super Seven and the Jiotto Caspita - those were the cars I would race out practically the rest of the game with.
@@josiahstearns9615 Lol, the cute little hatchback was actually a pretty decent car. but, I always started with the 1969 Honda S600, just because I loved the way it looked and sounded, and i would always bee line the Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corsa and the 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
@@footballcenter3000 haha. Yea, it just seemed to work for me....
I tried the '70 Stingray but it just didn't seem to do the job for me.. I'm not sure if I made the wrong upgrades or what but I guess certain players make cars work for them. Wasn't really a fan of the Abarth either... Lol But that's just me and my preferences and that's the beauty of the game, you could choose all sorts of cars and go from there.
But I'm sure if we plugged our Xboxes back up and dropped in Sega we'd still choose the same cars that we liked and make our way successfully throughout the whole game.
This is called "Break Time" according to the official CD
this fucking song lives in my head rent free since 2002
yeah pretty much
im gonna play this in the garage when i finally get my dream car, Mazda RX7 fd in metallic orange
Hope you get a hold of one one day! Rotaries are more intoxicating than you'd think
@@vee588 they go wvop wvopwvopwvop
Update?
Sega never disappoints with their soundtracks
Got that right! SEGA, Nintendo and Namco employ some of the BEST musical talents for their soundteams
If you could go back for one day to play this at any given point in your life again, would you?
I would
The days playing this, JSRF, and Blinx the Time Sweeper were awesome and fun
It feels like it's yesterday sometimes
Absolutely man. I hate it here. This time, this era is so lame to me. Smartphones ruined everything.
*NOSTALGIA* *HITS* *HARD*
My bro used to play racing games religiouslly back then, specially Sega GT 2002 that came with JSRF. I think he 100%'d the game. I remember going around the living room and hearing this OST every time bcs of him. He's living in another state now, I hope everything goes well for him. Miss you bro ❤
This one time, I forgot to press down before pressing A.
I'm glad I did.
We all lived the same life….
Thanks for uploading this. Kinda wish Masanori Takeuchi did more music for stuff. All of these tracks sound straight out of a monkey ball game!
one of the best songs ever made
Ford gt 40 in yellow with black stripes :)
Words cannot describe how beautiful this game's soundtrack is.
Ford GT 90
official song of searching through craigslist for 90s sports cars
The only racing series that came close to gt
First Xbox game I ever played - this track is forever welcomed in my memory.
reloaded this game after years to find the mercedes i listed for 400k over retail sold lol
Randomly thought if this game and this sound track is fucking timeless
Ah so those were the familiar noises coming from my head, I played this game on my cousin’s Xbox when I was 5 or 6, now I’m 14 and I love this
I wanted an Alfa Romeo so badly, but my cousin’s sister bought me a Honda in the game instead
Because I didn’t have enough money for an Alfa Romeo
I miss reminiscing long ago in 2003 getting home from elementary and playing my XBox.
playing this game again!!! still a masterpiece!!!
Love god and love all people. 😊Believe in the gospel Jesus Christ for Jesus Christ shed his blood and died for the sins of the world and he was buried and rose again from the dead three days later. For Jesus Christ God almighty and the flesh and if you believe in the gospel you are spiritually reborn into the family of God.
This was the bomb back in the day. A really great competitor to Gran Turismo. I loved this and Online so much.
love these funky sounds
It's pretty fun going back to older racing games after you're old enough to drive. 😛
I never heard of this game, not until recently when one of my friends sent me this audio file via discord and I've been in love with it the whole time, now I wanna learn more about this game
The game came as a standard with every original Xbox. I remember it was fun and exciting for the most part. Good graphics for the time period. As a kid playing this game i always thought the Lotus Espirit kinda looked like the Lamborghini Diablo, it was one of my favorite cars lol
Man sucks you didn't have the original xbox wit jet set radio future in sega gt 2002 me in my brother childhood was lit
@@marcopolo-yw5cr Bring me back to these times..
@@marcopolo-yw5cr man! Great times! Loved that game!
this ones my favorite one of the whole soundtrack, i play it on the original xbox at my grandparents every time i visit
My childhood I was like 9 or 10 playing this game and whenever this instrumental came on I just smiled every time
I was 11ish when my parents got me the game. My dad and I would play, even though he was terrible at using the controller. He often did the drag races. I remember one day I came home to see he unlocked the Chevelle and even somehow added NO2 to it. We got to use it together for the only time you could use it. Such wonderful times. And Food network too was good too.
I had this game. It was the first video game I had when I bought my OG Xbox ( real Xbox 1) back when games were about chillin.
I came here for both Nostalgia watching my Brother play it and for Budget Builds Official

I finally found this song after almost 2 decades! Reminds me of my childhood!
Ay I played this song when my car blew up... Nice
It sucks that Sega GT didn't blow up in the same fasion Gran Turismo did, it was the perfect competitor that done a few things better only for it to be overshadowed by popularity. Wish this game had backwards compatibility cause I'd love to give this game another go on the Series X
If you can find a working Xbox 360, Sega GT 2002 works on it though the only version I’ve tried is the combo disk that also came with JSRF. Probably the easiest way to play it as I’m not sure if the Xbox One supports it via BC and original Xboxes are rare in my area, at least in an unmodded form.
It works but I will mention that for both combo disk games, there *is* a bit of slowdown on a good number of tracks.
gt2 players don't like this cape
I do have the original xbox but only 2 games for it tho, splinter cell chaos theory and medal of honor, i need to get jetset radio future sega gt 2002 and need for speed underground to it aswell... oh almost forgot vexx
what genre of music is this?
Jazz
I just realized this is the time attack song slowed down.
literally the best song in the game
God damn I remember this on the old Xbox didn't get into as much but I appreciate much if this and all the older 2000 games that I've played.
it's my favorite gt racer. Gran Turismo had more cars, but they couldn't match the atmosphere this game had. Unrivaled.
who made this song, I have been looking for it
Masonori Takeuchi
When you pull your old 2002 Nissan skyline out of the car wash looking all fresh and clean on a summer evening right as the sun is starting to set.
Memories ❤❤❤❤❤😢
Xbox needdd to bring this series back with this same style of smooth jazzines arcade/sim racing gameplay it was so so good.
It just wouldn’t be the same
@@aaronownby2327 Why not!
THE NOSTALGIA. I miss playing this game
The best song !!!!!
Goated
i wept
I can't think another thing than staring at a yellow Corvette C5 while listening to this
0:34 is bliss
dudeeeeee
This makes me wanna cry...
Feels like yesterday doesn't it...
Yesss this song been in my head since this game first came out, I’m 31 now. Seems like yesterday I was a kid with no worries playing this. I had that Mercedes out my house up here..
Budget Builds! 😊
This is THE song!
This song was going in my head when i was putting together my tamiya drift spec rx7.
who came from budget builds's old video?
Me
