What was going on in the first part? I've only ever seen inbound trains use that platform at Silver Spring. I know freights will often use both tracks bidirectionally, but I don't see MARC do it that much
Certainly seems like ever since the SC-44 Chargers came, I never see any video footage of the MP36's anymore. And when I do, they're always trailing behind a Charger.
The MARC Brunswick Line hasn't been running as much Chargers lately actually. It's mostly just MP36s now, although I did see a Geep leading an MP36 a couple days ago.
The first one was in slightly poorer quality and only 30fps. I *thought* I had made that upload private, but apparently youtube just decided it didn't want to do that.
Can't wait til these chargers appear on the LIRR and Metro North.
The acceleration of these from a standstill is amazing
Clutch 3rd wheel at 6:47. Need some friends like that.
MARC really embraces mixed consists. NJT doesn’t mix the multilevels at all.
The single-level cars placed before the bi-levels serve as "quiet cars".
All hail the SC-44 Chargers!
Those look AMAZING

I think the east track had an incoming CSX train that evening.
Any hhp-8 locomotives still running?
A couple maybe? idk
@@therailthing610 MARC refurbished them, so yes!
As of 2020 they're still in traffic!
Awesome video man. Thanks a lot. I love these Chargers.

@@erikgustafson1410 So did you, genius.
I think you uploaded this twice

What station is that?
Which one? There are a couple in here.
