Factual....his 94-96 catalogue might be the greatest A hip hop producers ever created...Rock on remix + Masta IC + Artifacts remixes + I Like it remix + his Alkaholiks/Organized Konfusion/OC collabs...Holy Fuck!!!!!
This is a song from a time when the lyrics were everything, also the subject matter was relatable. Not gonna talk about what hip hop is now. This is the Golden Era, O.C. Buckwild!! D.I. T. C one of the best crews from the Golden Era! Also still here making real hip hop!! ONE Love! God Bless
DAMN!!!!! Straight up and Down, this is truly one of the most under rated artists & beats ever!!!! Straight GANGSTA! Love every millisecond of it! FLAVA!!!! For shizz my nizz!!!! O.C. & BucKwiLd, I miss y'all mucHo!!!!! moRe fiYah!
From the Jewelz CD. No doubt! Jewelz was dope I played that CD out back 97. My joint on there is The Chosen One. I Be The Chosen Be On That Moet and Cristal The son of a King and a Queen I'm a gifted child.
Popped in this CD for the first time in literally 16 years today. There's every song, and then there's this song, by far the standout track on an otherwise average CD, given the era & level of competition at the time. I totally forgot about this song, had erased it entirely from my brain database. No surprise that O.C. saves this CD, exactly like he did on "Clockers". I respect all the other opinions on here, but there are 3 O.C. tracks I'd put above all the rest: (1) This one (2) The Clockers one, "Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers", & (3) "Bonafied" which features a sample from Jay-Z on the hook, a beat that Puffy later stole & ruined when he produced Loon's first CD. If you haven't heard "Bonafied", check out immediately, one of my favorite songs during my college time at FSU. One of the most slept on rap songs of that era...
Wow, this tune by O.C is an uncut diamond as at the time of release, it was slightly lost in the wilderness as were plenty of nugget tracks in hip hops goleden era! The production on this is melodic, complementing O.C's ridiculous flow! Top 10 hip hip track of all time!
@NombaWon u do know that my dude. that whole jewelz album is amazin. so is word.....life. O.C is tha man!!! im glad you appreciate real hip hop my dude. much respect

This CD got mad slept on. The Oragnized Confusion track on this CD is the one you need though. OC should have hooked up with Organized Confusion that would have a cold trio.
Far From Yours is my favorite but yeah that was my 2nd. lmao I love how you spitted the chorus. lmao Now it's my turn. "Looove and affeeeection/ What I represent is MC's gone mad"
Fudge Pudge is OK & OCs best track imo. This is dope, if you like Bucks production, then check out his recent collaboration album with Celph Titled called "Nineteen Ninety Now"
