To draw the arc, I used Arc (Start,End,Radius) and it will always give me the arc length of 4786.1911. I guess 4.79 is rounded from 4.786 units. I changed the UNITS settings of Angle to Deg/Min/Sec, Precision 0d00'00.0', Direction: North, and Clockwise. Type L, click anywhere and paste below: @4930
Thank you for this video! One of my homework assignments required us to use surveyors units and unfortunately my professor didn't show us how to create a drawing using these units. This video was very helpful!
Thank you for the comment Ashley, much appreciated to hear such great feedback. Yes, I know many educational institutions aren't great with giving you the information you need, and sometimes teachers don't even know how to do things themselves, I have seen that myself. Anyway, glad it helped you.
This is really nice. I made some tutorials on autocad, recorded while I was lecturing some students of mine. I also had the videos uploaded on my channel.
@Sam the Shaman It makes sense in that what you are explaining to do, is merely a work around to do something that this program should be able to do out of the box. Thanks for the reply though.
hi Sir ... Could you provide a tutorial About creating circular Map like conference hall i provide you a link where you can see exact type of map.. plz make tutorial about that .. thx
the reason to not fillet when doing a site plan is that if the site plan is not a simple rectangle with all boundaries being equal, you will not see if there is a gap or misalignment when drawing up the plan. Filleting in this instance would often extend the boundary lengths to greater than the survey plan shows which should be avoided.
Thank you for your video, it was extremely helpful. Would i please be able to get your email address to ask a question regarding site plans, im just needing a little help, it would be greatly appreciated
@@AwesomeAndrew Hi , i have tried to send you an email but it doesn't seem to be going through, ive tried it twice it says its undeliverable, would you have another email address i could try to contact you on
@@danielmaynard9446 thats strange, are you typing in contact @ thirdistudio . com. au? It is needs the contact part in front. It should definitely work, i receive many emails daily through this address.
So helpful, this takes me way back to the first-year CAD tutes no wonder I needed a refresher!

thanks a ton buddy this video helped me a lot
Great job. Very useful.
Thanks Fred for your comment. Glad you found it useful
Thanks a lot
Great ty
You keep using the chord to plot, and then rotate the arc to match it. What do you use if you only have an arc and a distance?

You changed your name!
why not just fillet
