    I really like the “shotgun” method of highlights. Seems like it should have been obvious but I wouldn’t have thought to do that ever, great tip!

    Absolutely love this! I'm trying to step away from the expense of GW but the Orruks keep calling

    The "your mum" joke caught me completely by surprise. 13/10.

    Good showing the use of different highlighting techniques to achieve different effects!

    Another quality video from you Max, though I'd expect nothing less at this point. Your videos are consistently interesting, informative, and entertaining. Keep on rocking!

      They’re the only new kit that wasn’t in my flgs when I went to pick stuff up to expand to 2k points, unfortunately fate kept them away from me for now 😂

    'Your Mum' jokes are banned in our house - my wife doesn't appreciate the kids or me dropping them like dirty farts! 😅

    I have a real soft spot for dark green Ork/Urruk skin.
    But with that smoooooth dark red armour your light green is looking fine. 😎😎

    • @LizardofDoom
      @LizardofDoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s exactly why I chose the dark armour to balance out the brightness 🙂

    • @PigGibbon
      @PigGibbon ปีที่แล้ว

      It really is a great contrast. I think I would have to do mostly metal armour to get a contrast like these lovely models with my favourite green skin tone (Vallejo’s Luftwaffe Camouflage, Flat Green/Intermediate Green).

    6 hours of masking fluid, damn. Few hours practise with a smaller airbrush needle might be a good investment, don't fear the overspray!

      After this believe me I’m working on it 😂

    Awe man! I was looking forward to seeing the mask removed. Whoa what? Six hours?!!?!? Now I see why.

    • @LizardofDoom
      @LizardofDoom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah unfortunately there was no decent way to film it 😂 the big armour panels came off pretty pleasingly but it was a pain getting in the crevices.

    Awesome video as always, what wet pallet do you use please?

    • @LizardofDoom
      @LizardofDoom  ปีที่แล้ว

      10/10 wet pallet. The brand is Jucoci but I'm not sure if they make this specific model anymore as it has a silicone lid which is great for keeping it damp for days and their newer ones have a hard plastic lid. It came with the sponge and hundreds of silicone coated sheets that i haven't ran out of in nearly a year.

    Instead of liquid masks, try out silly putty, I have seen another youtuber use it when he's sectioning off bits he doesn't want painted. Apparently, the paint doesn't stick to the putty, and it's very easy to take off and causes no tearing. Hope this is a neat little trick for you!

    • @LizardofDoom
      @LizardofDoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some one else actually said silly putty so I’ll have a look, I’m also going to work on my control and try and get to the point where I don’t need anything 🙂
