Wearing Sauvage Elixir has garnered me the most crazy unsolicited compliments from girls than any fragrance I have ever worn one girl actually said it smells like a fboy scent.

Well when you think about it, having any fragrance puts you on the fboy side, as the opposite of a fboy would probably be wearing nothing.

My first designer perfume is Victory elixer and it's an anniversary gift from my girl. Im not into perfume but when i smell the victory elixer, it's smells so good. It has a very sweet scent for me. And it stays so long.

I loveee 1 Million Elixir however, smells amazing.
Invictus elixir is god tier potent, i sprayed it on my jacket and I could smell it after 2 days in my wardrobe. I couldn't figure out what smells, because I haven't sprayed anything at that time, then I realised it was the Invictus. For my it's a combination the original Victory and JPG Le Beau Le Parfum which is enough for me to grant it the majestical Elixir name
Which would you choose between invictus victory elixir and le beau le parfum? Not sure which I should go with.

@@justhair17 gotcha. I sampled LBLP and it is pretty good, lasts over a day on my skin with 14+ hours of projection so its seeming like a good potential buy. Guess I might have to sample Victory elixir too then, I didn’t like the opening of it much when I first tried that at Macys

I recommend Natura Essencial Elixir, Natura is a Brazillian brand btw, great products, should try some of Brazillian perfumery
I've read here and there that Sauvage Elixir was kinda suited for middle eastern customers.
I have a hard time imagining myself wearing it in high heat, but it does have an oriental vibe going on and I wouldn't be surprised if it sold well in those countries for that reason.
It's definitely much more unique and special than the other elixirs, the kind of fragrance you keep for special occasions, while the others are more suited for an everyday use (I really love VIctory Elixir in particular, 1 million Elixir smelled nothing special to me and I haven't tried the JPG one).

@@ianjacob525for me the best is Sauvage elixir but that doesn’t mean a don’t like the others especially the jpg le male since I already own the most prominent flankers of the line so I had to own it too plus it was made by one of my favorite perfumers Quentin Bish .
As someone who also jumped on the elixir hype train. I can share my opinion on this topic but there is no need because its the same as yours :D I am done with Paco Rabanne after two elixir blunders. I prefer Sauvage over Le Male but they are both great and fit the description for "Elixir".
How would you rate Boss Bottled Elixir and The Scent Elixir amongst these as they came out more recently?
The buzzword context in the intro was well articulated! Everyone copying Aromatics Elixir it seems 😉😂 But we shouldn't forget that Azzaro Pour Homme, Poison and even Burberry's The Beat were some of the first to don the flanker postscript over a decade before it became popular. Everything old becomes new I guess. As predicted, once the naming convention trends began at the tail end of the last decade (thanks in no small part to mobile device SEO algorithms), it was time to jump on the money train. Or....ship? Since it seems like it's the only thing keeping many brands afloat these days. No doubt there will be more to come, but I'm always curious to see what silly marketing strategy will be featured next. Elixir parfum cool spray? 💦😊
Patiently waiting for BDC elixir
Forget elixirs. Fine oil is where it's at. Dior are starting to do some. But here in the UK, sunnamusk is a solid entry for fine oils. Golden dust is lush, and evanto is the best Aventus clone I've smelled. Not in accuracy but in quality. Because it's oil, the top notes stay with you much longer and the base notes are apparent straight away.
I find funny all the marketing tricks that the brands use to sell more, I never fall for them, that's why I don't buy designers anymore unless they release a gem, something different like the new Pasha Absolute Noir and the brands that matter to me doesn't need to rely on those tricks for me to buy their fragrances, of course a cool name is always welcome but... From the list I'm only going to buy Le Male Elixir, love the bottle, Sauvage Elixir is beatiful, just not for me. Thanks for the etymology class and thanks for the video Chris!!!
I love 1 Million Elixir
Same it lasts a whole 24 hours on my skin, no joke. And also not only that but it’s definetly a way better buy in terms of value. I’ve seen it beat sauvage elixir in many people dislike or like videos and also don’t forget that a bottle of 3.4 oz sauvage elixir which is its biggest costs you 250 while a bottle of one million elixir that only costs you 190 has double the amount being 6.4 oz and also one little thing that people may not care about but is enjoyable is how cool the one million elixir design container is as compared to the boring normal style perfume bottle of the sauvage. One million elixir is simply a way better buy than sauvage elixir.
you can say what you want about 1 million elixir but the ladies love it when I wear it and it's my personal favorite 1 million just behind Lucky. Its also the strongest on my skin out of all the 1 millions. Has the best scent trail as well.

@@brandonkay9156 I do 5 like I do with everything else but it's not really needed because it it's pretty strong off of my skin. 3 or 4 would probably be enough for most.

I've tried sauvage elixir and don't like it. I like le male Elixir but it's too smoky and strong leather on my skin, no sweet at all. I'll wait for winter to buy it
I’ve been testing and sampling Invictus Elixir lately. It smells great and lasts over 48 hours on my clothes. It’s so freaking strong. It’s just so damn expensive. Not to mention that it’s not overly unique for the price. It’s just a sweet, syrupy, lavender-vanilla-cardamom bomb. I would purchase and could make it a signature scent, but not for $150. These things are too expensive for me.

I have the 1 Million Elixir and even though it isn't stronger(not weak though) than the others, it's the most unique of the million line, IMO!

Elixir by Paco Rabanne is nothing but at apple-y sweetness mixed with roses.. it is super playful. In comparison to..
Le Mâle Elixir is a minty blast of lavender and you'll get honey and lots tobacco in the dry-down. The Tonka in it will remind you of chocolate-y coffee. After all Tonka is a multi-faceted smell. I was in the perfume department of Macy's for hours coming up with my opinion on both..
JPG Le Male Elixir is amazing, PR Invictus Elixir is my 2nd favorite, One Million Elixir is 3rd favorite, Do Not like Sauvage Elixir. I have two 6.7oz bottles of Sauvage and they rock !
This is exactly how I feel and I wish I had a whole storage unit Le Mâle Elixir. Let us hope that it never gets reformulated or discontinued. I'm on a quest to see what perfume or cologne I can layer Elixir with to give me an ambrosial smell.
I wonder what the next sauvage will be named “sauvage night” “sauvage reborn” be cool if they took the original and added like saffron or other unique notes to it I hope they do something new soon….
Sauvage Elixir and Le male Elixir are amazing
I smelled Le Male Elixir yesterday and to be honest it wasn't bad at all. The tobacco came through clearly as it was somewhat drying down.
I have to say sauvage elixr is a beast performer,I sprayed this on at 7 am and someone at work said I smelled good at 4pm that day,,,,that is the only one that lasts on me ,
I can vouch for the performance. I put on 2 sprays at 5 am and my coworker was still able to smell it at 2 pm that day.
If Elixir has no actual requirement or definition, which it doesn't seem to, it's just another meaningless marketing fabrication. Same with Sport,. Extreme, Absolute, Intense, etc. Trust your nose and avoid the marketing nonsense!
I mean, even EDT, EDP and Parfum don't have any requirements or regulations. You could release a bottle of water and slap "Parfum" on it
Jpg Elxir is the worst... super underwhelming. Sauvage Elixir has set the tone as the best as well set the bench mark to what a masterpiece when it comes to an exlir.
Ethyl maltol is what theyre putting in fragrances to make them sweet. I dont need sugar in my food and i dont need sugar in my fragrances. I need seasoning, more flavors, more strength, more unique qualities.

I earn those 4 fragrances and let me tell you guys, the most complimented one for me has been one million elixir and my least one has been sauvage elixir. Telling you that, people like more normal, sweet, and not complex notes on a fragrance so thats why sauvage elixir, being a masterpiece, is a complex fragrance and not many people like it. So be sure what do you want on a fragrance, and by your idea of what you want, buy the one you see as the best option for you.
I've never worn the original or other flankers, but 1 Million Elixir lasts over 24 hours on my skin with heavy projection for several hours off 2-3 sprays. If the original EDT performs better than that it must be incredibly strong!
Sauvage Elixir is not the best smelling fragrance.. But it can be the only fragrance that you can get compliment after 34 hours of spraying. It really is just a megapotent elixir of fragrant oils. Le male Elixir is behaving like an Elixir, sweet smell with a silage of 2-3 meters for first 6-7 hours. They're just beasts.

I don't believe in such things as "luck" and "aphrodisiac", but honestly I wore JPG Le male on a few important occasions for me and it def. worked wonders. I am not even exaggerating.

The best buzz word was dior Fahrenheit absolute and man that was a masterpiece, gutted it got deleted but im really happy with Fahrenheit parfum so hopefully dior re releases absolute one day 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Whenever I have doubts about Sauvage Elixir being the best "elixir", I take a sniff on it and it confirms as the very best one and not even close to any other. Despite this, Invictus Victory Elixir is surprisingly good, and 1 Million Elixir is slightly under 1 Million Parfum, since I like the "solar" notes on the Parfum better. Le Male Le Parfum is one of my favourite designer perfumes and, unfortunately, Le Male Elixir felt underwhelming to me.
Yup, it smelled like a smoothed down Le Parfum and NOT elixir-esque. I feel JPG elixir could have been marketed as LeParfum GOLD as it is softer to me; they coulda saved the elixir title for something way more unique
To me, the 1 million elixir smells like a cocktail. There are so many layers of different smell. In other words, it's quite a deep smell compared to the other 1 million 's that I smelled

My favourites
For me Dior Elixir is the only one of these deserving of the elixir tag. It's a MONSTER with massive performance, easily outdoing the rest in terms of uniqueness. When you use it, you really need to go easy with the sprays. The others are a lot more forgiving.

I like honey but not a lot of it and they did it right in le male exlir but that's the main reason I like invictus exlir better it has no honey in it. Like lucky by paco rabanne it is good but too much honey for my taste and invictus exlir is lucky but without the honey

I own them both and have to spray like 7 sprays of EDT during the summer to get the same performance of 2 Sauvage Elixir sprays and the longevity is not even close.
