Hey Thato, it's Rendani from Parkview. Funny enough D and I are in Polokwane now as well. I'm so glad you are going better 💕 let's catch up when you have the time 🤗
Everything went wrong on your wedding day because you had just married a wrong man. You are beautiful and strong. May God carry u and your kids, everyday.
Very true I wish the lord to be with her to find a right person this time around because she still want to be married but I believe she is so strong she doesn't need a Man I see a very strong human being right here just got in love with a loose who does this, he was just failing to even fake it until she at least become OK. Then move on. Imagine someone nearly die because of you and you continue killing them more. There are people who are sick and they want everyone to become sick just like them. Devorcing someone because they are a problem of such it is just crazy.

Trust a man to be SELFISH and want a child under those circumstances. Trust a man to behave like a boy and stay out at night and drink with "the boys" when his wife is literally fighting death. This is so so sad, m just glad she managed to work through this very dark period in her life. Her ex husband was just cruel and I'm sensing that he was just jealous of her, he was supposed to be there for her I mean he's the one who caused this.

I feel like her ex husband knew exactly what was going to happen,i might be wrong but something just doesn’t add up on ex hubby’s behavior,, You beautiful my sister may you and the lil boy continue to heal🥰
I know its a year now, but as a Social Worker working at a health establishment, I am very disappointed that she was not referred to a Psychologist or a Social Worker to assist in dealing with the emotional trauma they went through. Together with the family as well. I hope she received psychotherapy.
Yesterday I watched the story of the woman who suffered six miscarriage's. She related how she felt LONELY and depressed especially after her first miscarriage. My question was, how do you feel LONELY when you have just gotten married? Aren't spouses supposed to play some emotional role to contribute to your wellness? She also added that she consented to having babies because her husband was already "putting so much on the table" not because she was ready. uhmm Today, this lovely woman also relates her horrific ordeal which left her severely injured. She mentions that even before her full recovery , her husband wanted another child chiefly because: "she is married to him." He proved to be sadly indifferent to her condition. We need to rethink the idea of marriage. This institution continues to endorse patriarchal masculinity and relegates women to slaves , vessels if not refugees.
As someone who has miscarried, I can attest to what she said. The journey is pretty lonely even with maximum support. Second to that, society including partners have a bad habit of being able saying "Oh please, you're still fresh, try again" as if it's that easy. They keep presurizing a person to try again. I had to cut off a person who said the same to me. We need to revisit the idea of holding space for someone be it in marriage or not
@@chiedzalight.9656 totally agree with you, especially re: holding space for people to choose marriage for themselves and, once they're in it, letting people design the kind of marriage that works for them.
😭😭😭I was in tears the whole time while watching this. My sister, you've been through the most. I just want you to know that everything happens for a reason, God truly has a greater purpose for you. Your son is going to be a great man one day. A man you'll be proud of. You are so beautiful inside and out. May the good Lord continue to watch over you and your family. You are in my prayers🙏😍😍❤️
The love and support your family have is absolutely amazing! I opened the video to watch but I felt so much pain, and I had to gather courage to watch the whole thing. I am so sorry you and your son had to go through this terrible ordeal. God loves you ❤️. You are a beautiful, strong lady and you will get through this. ❤️❤️
I find most episodes to be extremely sad, eye opening yes but yoh, hayi they are heavy man. I can't stop watching though because you take something from them everytime. I feel like giving you a hug mama❤️. I hope you'll continue to fight that feeling you get now and again. As for your ex husband, unbelievable!
I am so sorry for everything you went through. I feel so bad for your son going through the healing stages without his mother. Always choose your child.

I don't quite have the words but that man was definitely a curse yho, how cruel! I'm proud of how far you have come and so happy that you had such a strong support system! 🙏🏾🥰
Ur story is so painful my sister but the fact that u are still here and lived to tell ur story really shows that God is not done with u, God will never put u thru it if he hadn't put it in u dat will help u become a conquer. U such an inspiration to some of us who thot we've seen it all. God will definitely heal u and ur son beautiful sis. And u are spot on about mental health, if only people could be more kind to others, coz u never know wat someone is going thru, u never know when u cud become someone's life saver. Compassion is a trait we shud all posses or learn atleast, I mean the world is just cruel already.
Wow this gal is strong n it’s funny how a man can love u marry u n say till death do as part n yet they ain’t even with u when shit happens. This is a lesson that nothing is truly permanent.
My take away from this is ,not only should she have claimed from RAF but she should have opened a case of medical negligence against the hospital and the doctors who attended to her and her child. I just have a feeling that, the fact that she wasn't stitched up properly and there was debris in her wound could be the cause of the problems she is currently experiencing today with the swelling. Also, if those doctors were worth their grain of salt, they should have picked up her child was blind early and referred him to specialists, it makes me sad that they only discovered at the age of 7 the extent of the damage to his brain. With things like head injuries, early diagnosis and detection means EVERYTHING in respect of how you recover. I really hope she sees this comment and pursues it further, especially for her son's sake financially in respect of his lifetime care. Wishing Ivy nothing but healing and strength
Ok , so If you have blindness from brain damage, what is the cure ? What can a specialist do to cure that ? Also Which specialist deals with such ? The stitching … if you ever treated contaminated wounds, you will know how not easy it is. Also which specific problems did the debris cause ? All this judgement and you were not even there during the process. you don’t have all the facts but you are out here encouraging someone to open a case of malpractice. That’s irresponsible and very dangerous. It is damaging reputation of people who do not mean any harm. Did you know over 2/3 of medical malpractice cases are just bs ? .. meaning.. no case whatsoever. For the remaining third; majority of those it was purely by accident and not intentional? Here you are trying to taint image of people you don’t even know , without facts nogal! .
@@tranquilsoothingsounds3334 2 out of 3 cases are BS yet government hospitals are bleeding money via claims? DOH Gauteng spent 23 billion rands last year ALONE on claims. She said on the video that had a nurse not inspected her wound again against doctors orders they would have not known what was causing her swelling which was the debris. Someone had to defy orders to administer adequate care proving negligence in administering correct care in the case of the doctor who had to be defied. If you want to be ignorant, do so in your own time and place and don't bore me with baseless responses having no regard or respect towards factual figures. Secondly, they only picked up her child was blind after he spoke to his mother and informed her, there are responsive checks doctors do to check for things like blindness, given the fact that they were only alerted after he disclosed the inability to see to his mother means those checks were not done. Even when they did find out about him going blind that warranted referral to a specialist (A neurologist, since you don't know there are doctors who specialise in respect of treating the brain), which she made no mention of happening so we can assume it was not an option afforded to her. If exercising your right to receive adequate health care is tainting people's images, then you should have a good and LONG look at our constitution and reflect on how idiotic your conclusion is. By the way, you don't have to mean any harm to be classified as negligent. An omission is a form of negligence.
@@thatomotau7504 Wow , I didn’t know neurologists can cure visual loss from trauma to the brain. What treatment is that..? That’s new to me . But then we learn everyday . I know neurosurgeons definitely cannot cure that . But what does an ignorant person like me know ? Of course, this is assuming that you are smart enough to know that neurologists in South Africa are not trained to treat head injuries. A lot of those practicing neurologists have never even seen the actual live human brain pulsating before .Again, what do I know ? 🤷🏻♀️ See … problem here is that you are talking like an early referral to a neurologist was gonna get the child to see again 🙄 Secondly, After a very long paragraph, you still haven’t explained what long term impairment or disability has resulted from the debris? Besides the wounds taking long to heal and the scarring of course , which was gonna be there whether debris was there or not. What else is a huge problem currently? She seems to have recovered to me with only a barely visible scar. She is still a beautiful lady. It helps to actually know what you are talking about before you type something. All I said was :gather facts first before judging! That’s all . On that note , I shall not respond further and and go be ignorant somewhere else as you said .
May the Lord give this woman strength and healing. She's beautiful and complete... She deserves better. Mayher so receive healing and better life as well. ❤️❤️
She is still pretty... we’ll all age anyway and lose this gorgeousness, but hey guess what when you’re 70 you’ll still be beautiful within your age range. Secret: don’t compare yourself to people decades younger than yourself
@@lindelanimadilonga9902 Nod. Don’t understand why people over 10 years older than you are jealous of your beauty. There are many beautiful people in this world, but they choose to hate you for it. Mina I say love your beauty despite haters. Don’t feel bad about it, it’s not your fault
Strong woman indeed. I hope everyone learned from every angle from your story Ivy The parenting side, the listening side, the marriage side, the seldconfidence side etc. We as men need to treat women better with respect, love and compassion Your really mentor to many women Ivy❤
Wow your ex husband, I feel like there was a darker side to how everything went about. Everything just felt forced as you said you didn’t even enjoy the wedding. Your husband did something dark, wish you could go “hlola” Yoh hai. God be glory your safe and alive, please continue healing. Your beautiful, don’t even worry about that. Please stay strong. ❤️
That's exactly what I thought, that she probably didn't hlola like that because it's not what they believe in but now everything that happened is suggesting otherwise because Africa is for us Africans. I hope she heals
Yoh! This episode taught me a lot, and bring a question of; "Will I/you be able to be there fully for you/me in any form of support?". In confidence part, you filled my tank, I THANK YOU for sharing your story with us!
Ivy, thank you so much for sharing your story, most people think depression is attention seeking you’ve given it so much to understand and that’s not easy. I always say people don’t commit suicide they die from suicide because depression is an illness
I also feel so I mean a day after the wedding and plus the wedding did not go right the uncle also saying no to traveling was almost like something is being revealed to him and now that happens. May the good Lord be with her and may she finds healing and understanding that surpasses human understanding
I have watched a lot of Relebogile’s podcasts but this one got me weeping. I am so sad. I am trying to put myself in her shoes as a mom and I can’t. I’m weeping .
So this man ruins her and her sons life and just drops them like hot potatoes, what an evil man. I pray they both heal and that God blesses them abundantly.
What a testimony my sister.....u so beautiful my sister.I thank Jesus Christ for making you to survive and live to tell the story.....much love my sister
Yoh... Before I even listened to this story I was like, 'wow, who on earth is this gorgeous woman?!!!" Ivy, you are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the man you married honestly did "NOT" Love you :'( What you thought was 'love' was only there to hurt and break you. To get the true understanding of what love is, turn to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. You will see what true love is. He was just simply not the man for you. God actually removed him from you. God has been protecting you. That boy was meant to leave you, and that's okay, because something better is in store for you and your kids. Something really dark must've happened, something caused by jealousy, or to just simply bring you down. I dont quite know these things, but this is just hectic and doesn't add up. The treatment from your ex. Wow! Also, You'd be very surprised at how some people can become very jealous and envious of you just from 'getting married'. God knows why the boy was in your life then. You deserve everything of the very best, everything you ever dreamt of for yourself. You should PLEASE draw much closer to God Almighty, and always call upon the name of JESUS whenever you feel that depression and suicide urge... That is nothing but extremely demonic. Please call upon God... Pray. Faith it up! You are very beautiful, smart and powerful... You and your beloved son and daughter will be just fine.
I hope you don't end up saying "I forgive him" for the sake of batho. Or to be "human" if you know what I mean. Sometimes it's ok to be angry and hurt about things, batho ba tsenya batho pressure about this "I hope you forgive him" , this damage is way too deep and worse, he was allegedly/presumably drunk and didn't want this lady to claim RAF because he knew he was drunk. That's entirely about him. Then he wants a child, seeing that the lady is not ok and her kid o santse a peretla ko spatala. That's about him because ole ga se wa gagwe. Then the lady is in a psychiatric hospital and he tells her I'm sending the divorce papers. That's all about him as he wants to live. He did ALL things mean. Ivy, don't forgive him if you don't feel like it, imagine your son. And yes accident is accident, no one calls for it, but according to this story, this guy never showed any remorse or felt sorry. ugh
Ivy, thank you for sharing your story. May God continue to bless you and your family. Praise God for your parents. Praise God for the people who were there for you in every way.
May God give you strength. I am so proud of you lady, you've been through worst but with god you still here❤.Your story touched me.you're so beautiful and confident .Thank you ❤❤x❤,❤❤❤❤❤❤

Just finished watching the entire episode , I am weeeeeeping 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. 😭I am so sorry my love, that man is a monster.
I feel like her ex husband knew exactly what was going to happen,i might be wrong but something just doesn’t add up on ex hubby’s behavior,,
You beautiful my sister may you and the lil boy continue to heal🥰
I know its a year now, but as a Social Worker working at a health establishment, I am very disappointed that she was not referred to a Psychologist or a Social Worker to assist in dealing with the emotional trauma they went through. Together with the family as well. I hope she received psychotherapy.
Wow....I pray God heals her and her son.... God is still in the business of making miracles 🙏
I receive a miracle for his son💞
Yesterday I watched the story of the woman who suffered six miscarriage's. She related how she felt LONELY and depressed especially after her first miscarriage. My question was, how do you feel LONELY when you have just gotten married? Aren't spouses supposed to play some emotional role to contribute to your wellness? She also added that she consented to having babies because her husband was already "putting so much on the table" not because she was ready. uhmm
Today, this lovely woman also relates her horrific ordeal which left her severely injured.
We need to revisit the idea of holding space for someone be it in marriage or not
men and emotions, some men's esp african ones heart you would swear are made or rocks, so painful
That man wasn't worth it, may God protect you, your children, parents, family and friends.
Such a strong beautiful woman. Not so easy to overcome what you’ve been through. You are a real fighter. God’s got you.
She's so beautiful.. I'm so sorry for everything you've gone through.. it'll get better 💘
I am so sorry for everything you went through.
I feel so bad for your son going through the healing stages without his mother.
Always choose your child.
In the end I was hoping her son would be fine! But God is there🙏
Your family is so supportive ❤️,you’re beautiful.Thank God you survived 🙏
🥺🥺Sis Ivy you are one strong woman. Sharing your story without shedding a tear/ breaking down..🥺😭May God bless you abundantly with love, peace, happiness and joy. ❤❤❤ Modimo ha a latlhe bana bagage 🥺🥺❤ Ncese sisi
Can't believe that a human being can be this heartless. Stay strong 💪🏼.
Also.... her family support ❤ wow
Wow I love this lady's voice...😍😍🥰
See … problem here is that you are talking like an early referral to a neurologist was gonna get the child to see again 🙄
Secondly, After a very long paragraph, you still haven’t explained what long term impairment or disability has resulted from the debris? Besides the wounds taking long to heal and the scarring of course , which was gonna be there whether debris was there or not. What else is a huge problem currently? She seems to have recovered to me with only a barely visible scar. She is still a beautiful lady.
It helps to actually know what you are talking about before you type something.
All I said was :gather facts first before judging! That’s all .
On that note , I shall not respond further and and go be ignorant somewhere else as you said .
Yho the lady’s story is so heartbreaking, it’s like I’m watching or listening to a movie nje….
Absolutely
@@lindelanimadilonga9902 Nod. Don’t understand why people over 10 years older than you are jealous of your beauty. There are many beautiful people in this world, but they choose to hate you for it.
Mina I say love your beauty despite haters. Don’t feel bad about it, it’s not your fault
@@NN-id8bk so true❤
Strong woman indeed. I hope everyone learned from every angle from your story Ivy
The parenting side, the listening side, the marriage side, the seldconfidence side etc. We as men need to treat women better with respect, love and compassion
Your really mentor to many women Ivy❤
Wow your ex husband, I feel like there was a darker side to how everything went about. Everything just felt forced as you said you didn’t even enjoy the wedding. Your husband did something dark, wish you could go “hlola” Yoh hai. God be glory your safe and alive, please continue healing. Your beautiful, don’t even worry about that. Please stay strong. ❤️
That's exactly what I thought, that she probably didn't hlola like that because it's not what they believe in but now everything that happened is suggesting otherwise because Africa is for us Africans. I hope she heals
my thought exactly
Thought the same thing eish!
Exactly my thoughts, sorry for her
Same shem
This lady and her family are so strong.
Yoh! This episode taught me a lot, and bring a question of; "Will I/you be able to be there fully for you/me in any form of support?". In confidence part, you filled my tank, I THANK YOU for sharing your story with us!
Queen I admire your strength!!❤❤❤❤❤
Ivy, thank you so much for sharing your story, most people think depression is attention seeking you’ve given it so much to understand and that’s not easy. I always say people don’t commit suicide they die from suicide because depression is an illness
Her story is so touching.I applaud these woman.May the lord bring complete healing and strength
What happened to her is not a coincidence, there's more to this "spiritually". Someone somewhere knows something. God will see her through...
True man. This has something to do with the witchcraft.
Exactly what I thought
I also suspect so as well.. shame this poor lady
I also feel so I mean a day after the wedding and plus the wedding did not go right the uncle also saying no to traveling was almost like something is being revealed to him and now that happens. May the good Lord be with her and may she finds healing and understanding that surpasses human understanding
@@nhlanhlakhumaloh been thinking this
I have watched a lot of Relebogile’s podcasts but this one got me weeping. I am so sad. I am trying to put myself in her shoes as a mom and I can’t. I’m weeping .
So this man ruins her and her sons life and just drops them like hot potatoes, what an evil man. I pray they both heal and that God blesses them abundantly.
Your family is a blessing, you are well articulated, you are gorgeous. God bless you
Lord keep making this woman strong as she is I pray that her son heal and her healing🙇♀️🙇♀️😢😢😭such beautiful lady🥰
What a testimony my sister.....u so beautiful my sister.I thank Jesus Christ for making you to survive and live to tell the story.....much love my sister
Be kind to everyone you meet, we are all fighting some kind of a battle. This episode was so hard for me...
No ones deserves to go through this 😭 love and light sis ❤️🕯
She is so beautiful
Sending hugs to her. Hope her and her son fully recover
The ex-husband was so self-centred and selfish wew, May we never reach that level of selfishness as human beings, amen 🙏
