Morning Lewis, as always a wonderful relaxing day on Yorkshire dales railway. Really enjoyed watching the little cameos of people working and relaxing around the scene. Excellent. Eddy xx
To my American eyes your railway always appears both familiar and exotic. Back to a place I have never been. But always to a place that I would have enjoyed visiting. Happy Easter to those who celebrate the day; best wishes to those who do not!
Another great running session ,to take you back in time & enjoy first class modelling & sound with more eye level views .To see a pannier tank just makes for me .My favourite class .Thanks again & keep up the first class work .
Hello . As always , it was the perfect trip in your Time Machine back to the good old days of steam . But I was surprised about the delivery of coal , I expected Easter Eggs . I wish you all a enjoyable and peaceful Easter . Also without the eggs from the YDMR .
Once again you have given us a bit of realism. That is how it was in the 1960's, hard working steam and then one day a diesel showed up on a service and it never went back to steam. They were sad days for the steam enthusiast.
Hi Lewis. Great stuff again. I'm not normally a diesel fan, but I must say that I've always liked the 27s and your weathered version looks really good. As always, very enjoyable to watch. 👍👍👍😊. Cheers Chris
Always a joy to watch a new video release Lewis. Well done ! I like the Pannier Tank engine - should put one on my wish list. Thanks for sharing & kind regards, Filip
Hi Lewis. Nice to see that little ex GWR tank loco. I had to think to myself of the shot of that little tank engine making its way across the canal bridge reminded me of a Walt Disney film { Dumbo I think it was } where the little engine in the film is saying, I quote, I think I can I think I can as goes up the hill and on the way down its saying I thought I could I thought I could etc etc . thank you again Lewis for a nice video of you smashing layouts.
Hey hey hey it’s Mouldy Thursday Delight. Hello Lewis Great running session as always. I wonder if any of the railway workers at Misselthwait station turn gamekeeper of an evening as I notice a few deer wondering by the tree line.... Hope you and the family have a wonderful Easter. Stay safe, keep sharing and model on. Regards Lee@NEAR
Nice idea the class 27 at the end. I've noticed that your CCT behind her (second wagon from the locomotive) is a kit-built Parkside waiting to be weathered. Looks nice too.
Lewis... I will shorten the gushung at the gorgeous trains and your layout so I can get to a question... How extensive is your sound catalog? Do you pick them up off various sites, did you buy files? DO you have a very varied collection of sounds which you can match to the locos presented? In other words, do you have a Black 5 sound file to match a Black 5 model, and so on?
All the sound files are actually videos, mostly stuff I’ve filmed at heritage railways, and then I extract the audio from these for the videos. I have a couple of folders on my phone with different types of sounds, like pulling away, arriving, coasting, fast running, diesels and then three cylinder locos. In each I have about 10-20 or so files, other than coasting where I have about 50 🤣 I don’t always match the exact loco up, but I usually go for something similar just because it’s easier to get the speed/whistle sounds closer.
It seems much more realistic with smaller tank engines at Misselthwaite, as it's such an out of the way place. But that means you can't show off your lovely big tender engines there.
Great video as always, just wondering what sound decoder or speaker you used in the pannier tank, lovely deep sound makes mine sound tinny! By the way videos of my layout can be found on Melbury Junction if you fancy a look.
You should have sneaked the diesel in at the beginning. I hate it when diesels are left till last. I don't like your Class 27, he should be on the scrap heap. Happy Easter for tomorrow in any case.🙃 Nice to see God's Wonderful Railway getting in on the act.
Not sure which I prefer; the Cl 27 on the fitted freight or the B12, the Pannier looked cool on the passenger train, but the 4MT and it's loaded coal traIn looked the b business...
Looking better than ever! 'There's the Railway Children!' at ~9'45"??? ! Like it. Just a thought. Could you run more than one at once - a through express or something, with a local passenger or goods shunting in the sidings, or just a static 'train' in a siding? Al.
Thanks Al! Only one moving at a time, as it’s analogue rather than digital, although I could have a stationary train. I usually do that at Pondon where two trains pass each other. That said I have been thinking about perhaps making the switch to DCC.
At the time I was disappointed: a GW pannier tank from Banbury to Oxford… it might even have been Didcot or Reading. Not much of a loco I thought. But looking back it must have been right at the very end just before DMUs took over🤔.
@@MouldyRaspberry Exactly! Banbury Station had just been rebuilt and Dad wanted to look it over. We’d got off the Cambrian Coast Express especially… ‘from that to a humble pannier tank!’ I thought…
@@MouldyRaspberry Blimey… I just read that Banbury Station rebuilding was completed in 1958 so I I was only three years old when we took a look around it. Come to think of it the stairs were quite a challenge to climb up!

Thanks Eddy! 😀
unquestionably the most realistic and authentic modelling of all the many youtube channels available;
thank you for your amazing effort
Thanks Brian, appreciate it!

Thanks Steven. Happy Easter to you too!

What a wonderful model, I would love to live there!
Thanks!
Once again you have given us a bit of realism. That is how it was in the 1960's, hard working steam and then one day a diesel showed up on a service and it never went back to steam. They were sad days for the steam enthusiast.
Thanks David. Sad indeed, I promise any diesel hauled services you see here will go back to steam!
Such a perfekt outlet and the moves of the trains, great Video!
Thanks!
Thanks as always Mr R for another great look at the layout and stock. Cheers, Bob
Thanks Bob 👍🏻
Stunning video as always Lewis!!! Thanks for sharing! Cheers Onno.
Thanks Onno 👍🏻
Great stuff as always Lewis. The weathering on the Class 27 is exquisite!

Excellent running as usual. I hadn't read your description, so the green and white "steam" engine at the end took me by surprise! ;-)
Haha thanks Davie 👍🏻
Nicely done again. Good to see your B12 is still healthy as many have had problems, mine included.
Thanks Robin. Yes I’ve seen that, I guess that’s why they were selling them off cheap…
Gotta love steam, nicely edited video. Cheers Greg
Thanks Greg 👍🏻
Stunning detailing as usual
Thank you 👍🏻
Once again a top video!! I always look forward to seeing your content! Fabulous layouts and beautiful Locos and rolling stock!
Thank you 😀
Lewis, a brilliant video once more. The sound effects really bring it to life. A very talented man. Well done.
Thanks Dave, appreciate it!
Nice one mate. Obviously my favourite was the Pannier but I enjoy seeing the different formations of goods trains you put together.
Thank you, glad you liked it!
Another great video! I love your rolling stock, atmospheric and realistic as always!
Thanks Karl!
Always magic! It’s superb, also, how smoothly your trains move. Thank you! Cheers from 🇪🇸 and happy Easter
Thank you - you as well 😀
Hey Lewis thanks for sharing, really enjoyed this 👍🏻
Thank you - glad you liked it 😀
Absolutely beautiful . Fantastic
Thank you 👍🏻
Your videos just keep getting better. 😊

Wow! Awesome work!
Thanks 👍🏻
So nicely filmed....cheers
Thanks 👍🏻
great stuff Lewis , like being transported to another world ( or another age !) Have a great Easter
Thank you. You as well!
When I see your rolling stock I find it has great resemblance to what I see on Great Central Railway ❤❤❤
I really need to visit the GCR soon, they have some great locos!
Another trip to the Yorkshire dales. A diesel could it be the end of steam?... no just a minor setback. Great video as usual Lewis. Thank you.
It was not on Sodor and it will not be on YDR ❤
Thanks Tom, glad you liked it!
I always in joy this model railray its amazingly detailed and the locos don’t seem to stall over the points [like mine hah]
Thank you!
Loving the tank
Thanks 👍🏻
Awesome run, love those wooden coal cars. 😊👍
Thank you 😀
Fantastic 👍💯👍

I don't know anything about British railways, especially from that era, but what an atmosphere! I am amazed !
( and excuse my bad english ...)
Hervé
Thank you Hervé, I’m pleased you liked it!
nice video happy ostern
Thanks 👍🏻
Absolutely stunning love the pannier best loco ever 👍🏼
Thanks bud 👍🏻
Quel travail🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍
Merci! 😀
Use all that black stuff in those wagons sparingly. Its like gold dust to those who run Heritage Railways Mr Mouldy! Nice vid. John.
Never mind. In a future video Mr Mouldy will show us how to model bio fuel briquettes!
Very true John - uncertain times! My local line cut back their steam services for a month, although things seems to have returned to normal, for now.
Hey hey hey it’s Mouldy Thursday Delight.

I saw the deer and was Imagining a wolf peaking out of there, a friendly wolf of course.
Thanks Lee. They must do as they’re very tame deer! Have a great Easter weekend as well.
Nice idea the class 27 at the end. I've noticed that your CCT behind her (second wagon from the locomotive) is a kit-built Parkside waiting to be weathered. Looks nice too.
Thanks Oliver. Yes that’s right, it’s quite shiny. I’m not sure why I never got round to weathering that one actually.
Like seeing the B12 and the Class 27. Oh, and have we aquired a new car? Nice stuff as always Lewis - thanks for sharing - Teresa@FLR
You have indeed Teresa, looks very smart as well! Have a great Easter.
good vid thanks lee
Thanks Lee 👍🏻
The coal train was in a hurry Drivers end of shift run by the sound of it. I liked the 27 as well
He was, keen to finish his shift for sure.

Great video as always, just wondering what sound decoder or speaker you used in the pannier tank, lovely deep sound makes mine sound tinny! By the way videos of my layout can be found on Melbury Junction if you fancy a look.
Thanks Chris, I’ll have a look. I actually cheap and edit the sounds over the top of the videos!

Haha thanks Kelly. Happy Easter to you as well! 😀
Very nice as always. The video opened with a particularly handsome Ten Wheeler. Is that one new or have I been missing something?
Thanks Thomas. It’s fairly new, I’ve had it a month or so - it’s got a very classic look to it.
Not sure which I prefer; the Cl 27 on the fitted freight or the B12, the Pannier looked cool on the passenger train, but the 4MT and it's loaded coal traIn looked the b business...

There are two ways of doing it, The Great Western way, The LNER way, or the wrong way. I'm Great Western and ... Don't we know it!
Haha you’re not wrong 🤣

To jest to co lubię najbardziej. 👍 A do tego diesel zawitał do Misselthwaite. 🤗 🚂🚃🚃🚃. (h).
