Ayy omg that is my Pinterest account that u saved the artwork from:) Good job recreating my 2d work in 3d! found this on my recommendations and it was super cool! keep up the cool workk
Ok this looks so much more fun than juat drawing everything in grease pencil, you just saved me several years of unnecessary suffering Also your editing is incredible, i love it so much
The color wash out is not blender bug! That because the Color Management, go to render properties tab, then open Color Management and set View Transform to Standard and boom your color never wash out again. Your tutorial is awesome, thank you!
Очень красиво получилось. Вроде бы просто, на первый взгляд, но потом, столько всего по анимации и настройкам, что очень сложно. Результат красивый. Спасибо.
Can't test it rn, but for the hair waving, maybe you could use Geometry Nodes (set position where offset = custom_vector * distance(position, origin) * sine(frame * speed + distance(position, origin) ) ) And I think you would'nt need to convert to mesh! 😄 Some notes: - Custom_vector indicates the amplitude and direction of the waves - Frame is the current frame - Speed indicates the speed (frequency) of the waving - Position is the position node - Origin is the position of the Object info node - Distance(...) is the distance operation in the vector math node - Sine is the sine operation in the math node - Frame can be accessed as a node but I don't remember its name - The first distance(...) should be tweaked so that it does not look like a wig, but as a text comment, I think it is hard enough to understand as it is
Just tested it and it works :P However, I missed two key points: Object info node should be set to relative, and it is best to place a high count Resample Curve node before setting the position, so that the waves have a higher resolution 😄
No it's not the color management, if it had been set to filmic it would have looked really different, when I made the video I researched this and it's bad color conversion here's an article: developer.blender.org/T52697
Great tutorial, but could you please not include the grating meme-y edits and audio bordering on earrape. The cheesy stock footage and photos are fine, I like that kind of humor, but shit like 7:50 with overdriven goat screaming and whatever that bird meme was that went on for too long is so goddamn annoying when I'm trying to take in an informative video
@@jcmc1111 I'm glad you liked it. We're different after all. People of different ages watch my videos, they have different taste in humor and that's why it's hard to please everyone. Omg the "don't follow my step". I"m sure now, you're an tutorial grinder too, extremely tired from all these slow, annoying tutorials. There is nothing more annoying than following what the youtuber told you to do, then reverting it when they say "don't do that that way, it's the wrong way". Urrr
Thank you Levi ! 🟣 Why do you use the DWAA codec for EXR? Is it a (much needed) smaller file size? Or is it also that And something else? I wonder how lossy it gets I'm about to dive into Polyfjord's video next, but I'm asking here just in case
I use it because it's smaller than png, that's pretty much it :D There's no visual difference. I don't know what the other codecs do, I just followed Polyfjord blindly:D

Thanks for using my calculations for the wave modifier and making the handy plugin.
And it's true, I do like cats!
The Mastermind himself 😄
Just learning that trick for the origin point blew my mind. The rest was a bonus
A moment of appreciation for all the hardwork there. Great tut!
Thank you😌

And I think you would'nt need to convert to mesh! 😄
Some notes:
- Custom_vector indicates the amplitude and direction of the waves
- Frame is the current frame
- Speed indicates the speed (frequency) of the waving
- Position is the position node
- Origin is the position of the Object info node
- Distance(...) is the distance operation in the vector math node
- Sine is the sine operation in the math node
- Frame can be accessed as a node but I don't remember its name
- The first distance(...) should be tweaked so that it does not look like a wig, but as a text comment, I think it is hard enough to understand as it is
I apologise if it is hard to understand, I couldn't think of a better way to express it since it is basically math 😕
Thanks, that's cool if this works without converting.
Just tested it and it works :P
However, I missed two key points:
Object info node should be set to relative, and it is best to place a high count Resample Curve node before setting the position, so that the waves have a higher resolution 😄

i died at 12:40, literally me every time before I take a break/complete the project😆
For fix that color change you need to set blender color profile filmic to normal.
No it's not the color management, it's bad color conversion here's an article: developer.blender.org/T52697
Nice overview and well explained. Thank you. (The bird and worm scene was a bit to much and loud)
Thanks, for the feedback.
That what makes it funnier
Here's a shortcut to being the best. 14:10
great info and funny too!!
the export step with blender produces less vibrant colors because the color management inside it still set to filmic, must've set to standard too.
No it's not the color management, if it had been set to filmic it would have looked really different, when I made the video I researched this and it's bad color conversion here's an article: developer.blender.org/T52697
LOL NO AI!! funny, wonder it will better add AI for Blender for the boring job bit. Good VIDEO, love it
Great tutorial! However, you don't have to trace images with grease pencil, if you're importing SVG files
