The Ant Whisperer - Metal Detecting With Psychology And Plenty Of Awesome Finds!

- Amazing relic hunt with interesting artifacts in a beautiful area. I “discovered” what appeared like an old path. The finds proved me right. The visible part of the path was relatively short, because it disappeared after a few meters when the terrain changed. It’s therefore impossible to tell where and if it was leading somewhere. Maybe it was just a short section to extract resources from this part of the forest, who knows.
The finds were awesome and unexpected. A very old buckle, rivets and two strange artifacts came as a big surprise. The gold plated item seemed very special and appeared instantly as highlight of the day.
After a great start I expanded the search area a bit and was able to make other discoveries. For some strange reason there were also (once again) plenty of musket balls. I assume, this area was excessively used by hunters. There is no other explanation.
I also had an ant encounter… The ant was biting my wrist, for whatever reason. I tried to convince her to let it go, but it wasn’t working. I then decided to get inside of the ant’s mind and apply psychology to resolve the situation.
I basically told her, “No, you decide when to leave”, “you can have the last word, or thought”. It worked! Now I’m thinking about visiting a big pile of ants use my new knowledge and influence thousands of them to work for me. Imagine sitting in the forest, while they are metal detecting the forest and gathering all the finds for you!
All in all it was a great outing. Except for the weather, it could have been better that day.
I hope you enjoyed this adventure.
Thanks for watching.
UPDATE: Check out my upcoming video from this forest: • DOUBLE STRIKE & MORE! ...
And the one after, with a similar find: • Connecting The Dots… I...

The buckles and mystery items are fantastic. The tunes at the end had me dancing. Thanks LL
😄I'm happy to hear that! Thank you very much for watching and your comment!
I love the subtitles on this video. It's great to know your thoughts and feelings as you hunt along. You were serenaded merrily by a very talented bird.
Thank you Francesca, I'm glad you liked it! There will be another bird moment during my next episode...
See you next time!🙂👍
Awesome video, Great finds and love the music at the end.
Thank you Wayne, I'm glad you liked it! 👍
That was a fun video to watch. They're always interesting for me because of the just crazy things I've seen you come across on your hunts. Can't wait till next week and hello from Texas.
Oh thank you very much! 👍The next adventure is almost edited. I hope to upload it soon.
Greetings to Texas! 🐎
Wow a really good return for your efforts. A real pleasure to watch you. Keep going on and I hope you find the big one
Thank you very much! I hope you will enjoy my next adventure, which is ready for next Friday.

Thank you Wendy, I experimented with different colors and found yellow a good color compromise. I'm glad you found it easier to read. I enjoyed this hunt very much, the next one is already recorded and almost edited. I hope you will like this one as well. 😊
Have a great weekend! 👍
Enjoyed as always, the buckles are unusually in good shape for being so old.
Thank you Donald! The soil in this forest seems very "aggressive". It is therefore nice to see some objects "survive" the long term treatment.
great work on the final showing music and all. Very professional
Thank you for the compliment. 👍I'm glad you liked it.
I’m sure your next video will be just as exciting as all your other ones. Thank you
Oh, thank you very much! I hope, you won't be disappointed. Have a great day, or evening.👍
those buckles are impressive!!!
I like both buckles as well. 😊Thank you very much for watching!
I like the new CC style!! "You're evolving!!" Those fibula looking things were OLD!! Roman money clips?? LOL Musket ball graveyard!!
Hello Mr. Beepers & thanks for your suggestion. Who knows, it could be anything...
As for the subtitles, I had to go this route, because TH-cam was not displaying subtitles to all of my viewers (based on some irritating comments).
The old method was more flexible, but now CC should work on all devices.
P.s. My next adventure is almost ready, with plenty... musket balls 😄.
Bird chirping at much of the same time you used your pinpointer made it seem like your pinpointer was a bird in disguise
😄Thank you very much for the comment! In my next video a crow will interact with my detector (that's what I believe).
Have a great weekend!
You never disappoint great hunt
Thank you Mr. Miller, I'm glad you liked it!
Your content and style of it is fantastic bud. I'll stay subbed
Thank you very much, I'm glad to hear that! 👍Cheers!
Guten Abend MD24 ,
What a fabulous hunt!
Thank you Rick, I'm glad you liked it! 👍
Great video once again…..think the last gold item is a tie clip
Thank you very much for watching and for your suggestion.
That is an odd place. So many musket balls, and few that are deformed from Hillingdon anything.Seems like an awful lot of them from just hunting, as I said in your last video. But why few other items indicating a battle?A real puzzle to me.Thankyou for the video.Have a great day my friend.😊
I meant hitting.
Hello Harry, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately it went into the spam folder (probably because of the dot after your first sentence).
It really is a mysterious spot. I've seen many similar places with lots of musket balls and nothing else. Usually there should be plenty of military buttons and deformed musket balls, so my assumption. I also don't think this place was any special (if you look at maps etc.). Hmm...
Have a great weekend!
P.s. In today's episode I'll return to this area.
Hello! interesting places, eras, wars..
Hello, thank you for watching. The area is magical. Although it must have been looking differently back then...
The new font is much better. Thanks as usual..
Thank you very much, that's something I'm glad to hear. 😊
Nice video and finds hobby colleague😊
Thank you very much! Happy Hunting! ...as they call it. 👍
Tolles Video.👍👍💯
Danke Hannes & beste Grüße und einen schönen Abend!
That outro music is fire 🔥
Thank you very much! 👍
Terceiro a comentar, bora assistir!🇧🇷📈
Thank you, I hope you liked this adventure! 👍
30:36 Schwertscheidenklammer oder allgemein Blankwaffenscheidenklammer
Vielen Dank fürs Schauen und die Bestimmung. Beste Grüße! 👍
New subtitles are great
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad if that's the case.
What do you mean by candle? End of a flashlight? Thanks for the video.Have a great day.😊
I mean the cheap aluminum candle cup/holder (I don't know how it's called). I wish you a great day as well!
Tree pollen is high right now in both Europe and the U.S.😊
It got warm very early this year. Fortunately we got rain, so the air should be much cleaner.
are you typing in the text for us now on?? those small buckles like that one in the beginning get a lot older than 1700s my friend you can call out those finds like a pro,, you know your machine well,, great finds right off the bat and throughout,, great job 24
Thank you Ray, all of my videos had subtitles, that's why nothing really changes, I just have to embed them in a different way. Thanks to this method everyone can see CC on any device.
The audio of the XP DEUS can be very telling, especially in "full tones" mode. I'm testing different speakers at the moment and hope to improve it a little bit more. But the speaker in this video was already very good, that's why it was not that difficult to guess.
Have a great weekend & Happy Hunting! 👍
@@MetalDetecting24 it wouldn't let me click on CC on this video, it was automatically writing in the text for you,,, usually i have to manually click on the CC to read your text🤟☘️
@@413MassDigger Thank you Ray, that's normal as the subtitles are embedded by the video editing software (like a picture). It's less flexible, but as you already noticed, the viewer doesn't have to do anything to see them.
Some people didn't click on the CC button, or they couldn't do it on some devices and complained that I'm not explaining what I'm doing in the video. I hope the new method solves it... 🙂
The two mysterie items are medieval sword hangers
Hello and thank you very much for the info. It would be nice if that's the case. Cheers!
I found also one, I didn't know what it was ether. But Westcountry Glegg found the same one. I sow it in his video's .
That way I am sure it are sword hangers
@@jan.pol1963 Thank you, I will try to find the video. Cheers!
The new subtitles are ok, but the old one wasn't bad either. 3:22 min buckle from the 1700s/1800s. I assume that the buckle collection was almost the same as in Germany and in the area of present-day Finland then.
Thank you Miko, that's good to know. I also believe, they had very similar things in Europe. It's as if they shopped in one online store. 😄
Greetings to Finland!👍
@@MetalDetecting24 After all, Finland was part of the Swedish empire for about 600 years, and Sweden certainly had strong ties to the then German territory, when Sweden even fought wars there. Fashion trends were constantly moving. Potatoes once came to Finland from Germany, when Finnish soldiers returned home from the 30-year war. Have a nice weekend in Germany and keep up the good work. There seems to be a lot of musket balls and 12.7 mm shells. I myself have only found one larger musket ball in the field.
Warum liegen dort so viele Musketen Kugeln 😮..
Why did you deserve to get dirt in your eye?
Because I cut too many roots. 😊
Geile rund
Hallo Herr Django, vielen Dank fürs Vorbeischauen. 😊👍
When will you finally buy deus2 it has already been proven+n it is recommended to set it to the smallest probe as it will pick up coins even from the smallest depths....
I haven't seen watched any comparison videos between both detectors (in undisturbed soil), so for me it's an unknown. I also don't know if the audio (in full tones) on DEUS II is as good as on the older version. If I knew that I would have an advantage, I would probably start thinking about an upgrade. Maybe I'll do some research in the future.
Thanks for watching.
I like your channel, but it’s just too long the videos I mean so I’m unsubscribing sadly 😢but I loved your content
I'm sorry to hear that, but I can understand that not everyone has time to watch long videos. Thank you & have a great weekend!
@@MetalDetecting24 I changed my mind I’ve been with you since 10 KBTW
@@DiamondGem16 Thank you, that's nice to hear. My next video happens to a bit shorter (because the hunt unfolded that way). I always try to make my videos as compact as possible, but I also want to show the whole picture as every hunt has its own story that can only be explained in a certain way. That's at least what I believe. 🙂
@@MetalDetecting24 you should keep the videos like they are right now , not everyone has the patience to watch it all the way through without skipping but those who do are your real subscribers, they want to see the journey not the outcome
@@MetalDetecting24 well alrighty then I guess I’ll stick around 🫰
