I personally would have used a metal detector. Dunno if you could find much using broken ribs? 😂😂 I'll get my coat... and detector... 😂🤣 on a serious note, well done. Lovely Hammereds up and hope the ribs heal OK.

Ahhh man. I feel your pain! I broke a rib last year playing football and my god the pain was unbearable at times. Took forever to heal too! Couldn't sit/lay down let alone go detecting. Wish you a speedy recovery mate!
Beautiful hammereds there, mate. I agree about the clipping - it gives a coin more personality and 'life'. I always think it's a shame when people sound disappointed that a coin is clipped, but it's part of the story.
Anyway, heal soon and buy an electric-start mixer. It's 2024 😉

Congratulations on the hammereds! That Henry VII is in amazing condition. I wonder if the large silver strap end came off a medieval sword belt (girdle)? Seems about the right size. Hope you heal quickly.

I've just seen this latest post of yours (title, not vid yet). My sympathies...
Just after Christmas, i got a Manticore, a week later, i tore a load of ligaments all around my hip..... just walking to work. It's now the middle of April, and I've not been able to use it yet😢. Bending, kneeling down, getting up..... just agony! I think I'd rather have half a dozen cracked ribs than this; (having had one myself). Get well soon mate!!
We met at Bayfield weekender, from Teesside I was with my hubby - I tripped running and cracked my left rib a few weeks back - very painful first three weeks, just about feeling no pain 6 weeks later - hubby has had the pleasure of digging my holes as we have been on pretty tough ground, and I could only dig for a couple hours max before it got too much for my poor side 😢 hope you feel better soon! It’s a flipping awful pain.
It's certainly not nice, especially how it hurts to breathe in lol 🙃 😅. Glad you're feeling better too. I'm just going to take it steady for a few weeks.

They are working perfect so far 👌. I started taking them the beginning of March and no hayfever yet 🤞🤞

I’ve got to question why you’re trying to start a dumper with a winding handle ?? Hmm I’ve done that your lucky you’ve still got your head intact
It was an old cement mixer mate, not a dumper. Luckily it didn't start up, the handle just slipped while I was cranking it and I hit it across my ribs lol.... what a silly thing to do 🤦♂️
How do you get the close up pictures so clear??
I use my phone for close-up video and photos (Samsung galaxy s22 ultra), I set it to 0.6 zoom and then get as close as it will allow 📸
