Practice makes perfect (: just keep trying with the things you are good at, and then keep drawing the things you are bad at, it'll probably get better the more you do it. You can also try to draw it a different way

You are not alone in your art hoarding! My wife can a test to my over abundance of sketchbooks/journals and other art supplies. I don't see a problem with it as long as you keep creating. You can never have enough medias to express yourself.

What a lovely workspace/studio/living space! You sound a lot like me when it comes to collecting art supplies and "hoarding". But hey - sometimes you feel like painting, sometimes you feel like drawing/illustrating with different mediums! It could be that your artistic journey will have you working with different mediums! This was the first year I dared to do watercolor & gouache, and it was a bit scary coming from more of a colored pencil/graphite background for years. Now it's one of my favorite mediums to work with! Keep on collecting! Love your beautiful oil paintings. Your light and shadow color professions are beautiful!

OMG I can relate so much on the collecting art supplies. I don't know why, and whenever I see any kind of art supplies I get so attached. I usually just do pencil art (sometimes I'll use pen to outline and bring out small details) and if I feel challenged or really inspired I'll use my colored pencils. I don't really like to color in my art work because it takes away the meaning of it. If it stays shaded in with a pencil, you can just imagine yourself how powerful the drawing impacts you (if that makes any sense). I'm not saying coloring in your artwork is bad. In matter fact, I love seeing color in artwork but not when it comes to mine. If I'm just experimenting with a medium I don't normally use (like pastels or paints), then I'll of course color in my artwork.

ugh yessss. Im an artist too and i went through this huge faze for the past two years in love with Paris. I mean i even have an Eiffel tower lamp but i felt like my room was lacking my artistic feel so I have taken down a lot of the Paris photos to put up my collages, paintings, and drawings as well as photography projects. I bought a new all white bed set because white gives good backgrounds for artsy selfies, i attached a huge mirror to my bed frame and i bought background scrapbook paper built wire triangles that i hang on the wall with close pins encircled with a v shape of gold lights. I plan on buying a day bed soon and would love ideas for things to put in it? Maybe strings of fake flowers such as babies breath? Idk but your studio is gorgeous. I want to define my room so much more.
If I die and go to heaven I want it to look like this. So pretty and I adore your artwork. I'm an artist myself but still trying out different styles. Your girls are so pretty and unique. True talent, keep up the good work. Love from Holland.

I have the same problem😂😂 i have so many art supplies and i want even more. And don't even start with brushes lol i have so many half of them are useless but i still keep them. You can never have enough art supplies and most girls in my school show their eyeshadow palatte then there is me with my watercolor, acrylic and oil paint palatte. When i buy makeup i end up using them for art. I have a problem

I have the same problem😂😂 i have so many art supplies and i want even more. And don't even start with brushes lol i have so many half of them are useless but i still keep them. You can never have enough art supplies and most girls in my school show their eyeshadow palatte then there is me with my watercolor, acrylic and oil paint palatte. When i buy makeup i end up using them for art. I have a problem
