Mature, imaginative, soulful and creative= the superb artistry of Anthony Ratinov! What a blessing to "feel" the pulse of such special music-making.
Anthony you are amazing! Your Chopin music choice is a frech air after thosess6 days of earing the same pieces over and over. Thank you for that.
Anthony's Sonata 3 was really grounded, inward, full bodied and so eloquent.
Finalists are Angeline, Anthony, Angie, Nathaniel, William and William - congratulations!
To be honest it's the Sonata #3 version that I really enjoy. For me Anthony give us the real soul of Chopin in this interpretation. Bravo Anthony, you deserve to be in the final of this competition, no doubt for me.
Karina Tsing is amazing. Surprised, she is not in the finals
The most clear sound and articulation = KARINA TSENG!!! .... A very moving performance... I am surprised, she is not in the final...some tiny mistakes shouldn't ruin our listeners vibes
I watched all the performance with a day late. They are all amazing. But my choice for the final are Antoni, Anthony, Nathaniel, William Ge, Angie and Olivier Moore. I watch you all form my house in Montreal, enjoying all moments to discover great pianist. Love you all. A special thanks to Ben Laude for the Show Pin after party. I can't wait to see the last two days of the final performance.
Yeah, Anthony, that 4th movmnt of Sonata3 was a Marvel movie. Unreal!
my top faves made it 🎉
Why not bring Garrick Ohlson to the live stream by remote feed. Would love to hear his comments on the music and the competition
Why couldn`t this (these) pianos hold a pitch? I attended the competition one year and also a masterclass in Miami. There were NO issues with tuning. But these things were worthy of the practice room.
Finalists: William Ge, Angeline Ma, Anthony Ratinov, William Yang, Angie Zhang, Nathaniel Zhang...congratulations!
Loved the Op. 17, #4 Mazurka in A Minor by Anthony Ratinov. He took a risk and it worked (for this listener, at least!)
Yes Anthony is very special!!
My heart is kaputt. I can't stand to see these people go...
who is playing on the day 1 finalists' concert?
Spaguetti fingers of RTNV
Heartbroken that Antoni Kleczek is not a semi finalist.
Not finaliste, you mean. Yeah, it's a pity.
It's a second time that somebody make noise during a performance. What a shame! Sorry but it's not suppose to happend!
