Hi, quick question. What is the benefit of using a knott instead of just using a swivel? then just 1 or 2 stops above the feeder to give it self hooking abilities instead of the knott and stops below?

I am a grumpy old man too. I think you are wrong. His enthusiasm is obvious and his desire to pass on his knowledge is clear for all to see. Lee is an angler, not a teacher, or a trained instructor. Your problem with Lee lies with you, not with Lee. What you really want us all to know is that you don’t need all the information because you understand how to fish the feeder already. Well 'Grumpy' ( you don’t mind if I call you Grumpy do you) if you think that Lee is talking down to you you have the power to put that right. Just don’t watch.

flat weight feeders are bad for the rivers and flow. you actually need weight to be in one spot...
