Will the Army 3D Print Tanks in the future?

The Rock Island Arsenal is the manufacturing hub for all US military branches. It provides manufacturing support for the US Army and recently added a 3D Printing when they opened the Center of Excellence for Advanced and Additive Manufacturing, which quickly became the military's largest collection of 3D printing technology. Now, the facility will be home to the largest metal 3D Printer in the world. The printer's primary purpose will be to printer the hulls of military vehicles such as humvees, tanks, and armored trucks.
