I just love her. I remember seeing her in Twilight and not really giving her a second thought. Then I stumbled on a video of her singing with Kristin Chenoweth and hanging with her note for note, then came the Pitch Perfect movies and the Cups song etc. And I am obsessed with her in Trolls. Needless to say I felt pretty dumb when I realized how super talented she is.
I need Anna to start a TH-cam channel or podcast… I could listen to her all day. Her energy, humor, relatability… I live!!

This is like me, I'm in my late 30s but always insecure about riding a bike. When you live in highly populated cities with cars and don't get much chances at riding a bike, and you've only ridden once or twice for the sake of riding, it doesn't exactly make you an expert for life. Also, I used to prefer skateboards for some reason. So yeah, it's like riding a bike should be banned from popular phrases lol.

I had to relearn how to ride a bike at 30 after not being on one for 16 years. The hardest part was that I was in a youth off-road biking club as a young teen so it was almost heartbreaking to start over again.

I'm 33...haven't ridden a bike since I was 16...trying to teach my 8 year old to ride a bike. I've gotten in mine to show her and she is always worried ill fall. I have faith you can do it!
I learned when I was 16. It only took 10 minutes and I didn't fall. Maybe because I had been riding scooters already it wasn't that hard to balance.

but it was a really quick witted rebuttal of sorts. Its got a couple layers. Cause it also infers to when James responded to Anna's statement of her diligently watching the show by saying "Oh you're the one" thereby taking a crack at the show's viewership in a way as it was said in a way that means Anna is the only one who watches that show. So by saying "cause Anna is here" it also connects to that statement which ultimately means "No one's watching cause Anna is here as she's the only viewer of the show anyway". Making it a safe but corrective response like that. James was super fast and witty on that one.
Watch the other video posted from this interview. Anna tells him that she's been watching the show every night for a while now, and he said, "Oh, you're the one" or something like that. It wasn't a "butthurt" comment.

I don't understand young people. Or maybe it's an LA thing. You make your friend drive an hour in LA traffic cuz you can't just say "well nice meeting you but I have to go." Or "you're great but I'm not feeling the chemistry." I'd much rather somebody be real than perform a scene to leave a date.

I remember my mom trying to learn to ride a bike when I was like 10 (her mid-30s) She got on it and fell backwards off of it without even moving... it was great. I don't think she actually learned until I was in her late 50s.

Could’ve been worse darling. At least you weren’t with me. One day I was going very fast down a hill and my wheels hit a patch of mud, so I skidded. I put on the back brakes which resulted in me skidding even further, so I panicked slamming on the outrageously sensitive front breaks. I came to a dead stop instantly and I went headfirst (no helmet) over the handle bars. I remember being in the air, and thinking “Right that’s that then.” Then I thought “I’m still in the air, the longer I’m here the harder the impact will be” and then finally “Okay this will really hurt”. Sure enough…I didn’t like it. I only have a dull memory of the impact so all I know was from my then girl who was about twenty yards away. According to her I hit the ground headfirst, somersaulted three times and then the bike came in on top of me. I could’ve fractured my neck. My head was good as I have two things in my favour - an extra hard skull and remarkable powers of recovery.

I need more details about her bike riding experience as a child. Did it only have 2 wheels, or were there still training wheels? Did she genuinely forget? If it was a regular 2-wheel bike, and she didn’t remember how to ride it… has she seen a doctor? I feel like scientists would want to study her.
