Never thought that Sora would be the last character to end all DLCs. The music is a perfect choice for his entrance as the last character in the trailer.

That song is called hikari it’s is the instrumental of simple and clean which is the deaf to main theme of the entire series. Dearly beloved is the main title screen but hikari is iconic
The Final character for the Ultimate Smash game ends up being the character designed specifically for a crossover. Now featured in the most popular crossover fighting game. It's poetic actually.
That final trailer actually put tears in my eyes. It's wild to think that this game is over.

Kingdom hearts as a game was originally developed in the hopes of combating the popularity of Mario 64 or smt right? Crazy and ironic to see Sora and Mario shaking hands at the end there. Kind of a way of saying we’ve both done great and deserve to be here🤝✨

Lowkey when they were figurines, I thought it was Tabuu. But, it was inevitable of Sora being the last fighter. Last direct was a big giveaway

It was insane the fact the freaking leaks were true, even after reading that I couldn't help but smile and tear up, because he was revealed on a time I was struggling like hell with emotional stuff, he was...the light I needed.

The combo he used on banjo was nair nair up b. Nair hits more up than forward. The nair animations go frontflip slash, upward slash to another frontflip slash. Fair is Downward slash with spread legs to upward slash then a frontflip slash with a slight change on the startup animation on the last hit to where it looks like he's twisting his body around sideways before the frontflip.
Sora is light with a floaty jump. Yep it's mewtwo/Ness with a key sword.

Azura from FE 14 (Fates) is Aqua in Japanese, that's why they have to differentiate her and Aqua (KH BBS, etc.)
Kind of like how Sora emphasizes fun over being a broken DLC. Like you get him, he will be a fun character to play, bad or good.
Thing is, He was as good as Cloud in 3DS/Wu if you knew how to use his attacks. it was more about the combos with Sora rather than heavy attacks.

I’d actually say that his down air might be good for controlling his position. His jump is so high, and he falls so slowly that having a move that carries him down quickly might be important, especially since his recovery is so ridiculous.
Maybe, but his fast fall is also ridiculous. Have you seen the clip? He has, like, Fox fast fall. It's ludicrous.
@@Alex-rr5kb So, I'll be real with you, I'm not that well versed in the more technical side of the game, but I'm not surprised that his fast fall is good considering how strong his air game is designed to be.
@@rock21611 That's understandable. But if you move to the clip where Sakurai does a nair on Bowser, fast falls, and then jabs? Yeah, it's nuts how fast he's actually dropping.
Just in case you missed it, the Blurred zoom in is ONLY for stamina battles. Its the sole reason Sakurai did stamina battle

Nairo actually guessed so many of the things in the presentation before seeing it with crazy accuracy
1.The kingdom key and keyhole
2. Thé stage being Hollow Bastion
3. Having magic and the 3 main spells

Hearing the music in his reveal trailer kinda reminds me of Etika. But he’s at peace, hyping it up in heaven, breaking all the shelves lol Thank you for everything Sakurai. Hopefully now you can take a good rest!

This journey has been amazing. I have to say, the 3 Square character reveals are probably the best. Cloud during Smash 4, Sephiroth, and Sora now. Sephiroth was more unexpected, Sora's more surprising. But all 3 were amazing reveals.
Now that the Smash character DLC is done... Nintendo... give us skins. You'd make SO much money.

What makes it worse is that square enix wouldn't allow their characters to be in trailers unless it was square enix related, meaning without the leaks, we would have known by sephiroth, cloud, and maybe hero being in it.

I was super happy to finally have sora. I was hoping they would do a shulk type menu for his magic skills though and make him play more like the 2nd game. hopefully he doesn't disappoint though.
6/11 DLC fighters have the Stall N’ Fall down-airs lol
I will say the counter causing the opponent to stagger will mean that moves that are fast enough to bypass the hitbox of most counters will stagger and get hit by the counter.
But in return, you have to use the counter while facing the opponent. Little give/take.

Hearing Simple and Clean playing made me tear up. I was at work, and my students started to hug me because they thought I was sad. 😅 Beautifully done Sakurai.

Regardless of whether sora is fun or lame, good or bad, there was very few options to end smash ultimate with.

We'll have to wait and see how Sora plays. From what we know he could either be a low tier laggy kid or a combo beast that combos you from neutral unto under the stage and still easily recovers.

most requested in europe if i remember correctly and 4th i think in america, overall #1 was Sora. Positive 2nd and 3rd was Goku and Shrek but they werent originally videogame characters so they couldnt be included
I never heard of sora before, but I did know he was a Disney character. Very shocking for me.
More of a Square Enix character. He’s the main character in a collaboration game between Square Enix and Disney. He visits various worlds throughout his games which are different Disney properties.

The up aerial, back aerial, up tilt, and down tilt were really popular with people watching this presentation. So people use them so much they forget how crucial and useful the jab and neutral aerial variations are.... and I feel like his magic should be stronger because they're level 3 spells from Kingdom Hearts. They should be stronger just like how level 3 spells are stronger in Kingdom Hearts.
5:00 Never seen kingdom hearts in my life so I didn't care too much about this one, but don't ever make an ember fall from the sky then pull out a sword from the center and not make it coiled. This got me hyped and broke my heart so fast back to back lol.
I wouldn't be mad if their next game was all KH / FF characters. But that's just me.

The reason why there are no Disney characters in smash isn’t because of legal issues but it’s because, as sakurai had stated before, they only wanted game characters in smash and goofy, Donald, micky and all the other Disney characters did not appear as video game characters. That’s why you only see the square enix characters from kingdom hearts.
