Oh, the writers must’ve seen it for sure. I think that that just went against the point they were trying to make that no matter what the reason Sol killed her and that’s all that matters not why he killed her but that he killed her. Ridiculous. Even a master Jedi would not want to take someone’s life, but completely leaving out the fact that she was doing some kind of incantation and changing shape or form. It was ridiculous man.

Amandla Stenberg's acting is so wooden it's unreal, you would've thought she show a bit more emotion when force choking Sol but instead we get the exact same expression as always, completely BLANK! I don't know if you noticed but that was the original version (old) of Yoda even though he appeared younger in the prequel trilogy which is nearly 100 years AFTER this happens!
The best thing that could happen with this is to write it off like they did with Willow and release a statement that this was NOT canon!

    • @renuzui
      @renuzui 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

I mean ??? None of that is exactly a new concept, though. The Jedi were pretty dumb and naive to believe that the Sith couldn’t possibly exist anymore. And one of the biggest plot points of the prequels is how many of the Jedi are “corrupt and dishonest”. The Jedi are not perfect, and that includes Yoda.
Or did you simply forget the fact that both Yoda and Obi-Wan kept two huge secrets from Luke??? Or that they both insisted his only option was to kill his father???

You already know that that Yoda is a pathetic failure. Let the chancellor who was a sith Lord, take over the Republic, turn it into an empire and kill 90% in the Jedi. All under his watch. The best case scenario for Yoda is that he is incompetent. The only other scenario is that he's foolish and negligent. This was already established by the prequel trilogy.

This show just established two options:
1 - Yoda knew 100 years before the events of the prequels about the existence of the Sith and did NOTHING to solve this immediately
2 - Or he bought all the bullshit from the green lady and proved he is so dumb that he couldn't notice the dark side working behind the scenes TWICE!

Bleeding a kyber crystal, requires a lot of focus and energy and once it’s been done, there is no going back. At least not right away. Ofc, Vader did come back to light but that was many years later because Luke redeemed him and it’s more of the exception rather than the rule. The way she bleeds it rather quickly and seemingly without much focus, is new for us “canon” ppl and the only sense that can be gathered from this point is that she literally is just that powerful. And according to the show, her count is extremely high, possibly higher than Anakin, which was higher than even Yoda’s. So these twins who are actually the same person just split are the most powerful beings we’ve ever seen in the Star Wars universe. If that’s the new canon that you’re willing to accept, more power to you.

One of the largest problems I have with this show is - remember when they would say that the reason that the show(s) were the way it was made because "it was made for kids/young girls to have role models/something to look up to?" WHICH OF THE LYING, MURDERING, AIMLESS, WOODEN, LACK OF COMPLETION attitude-ridden women is what "kids/young girls" want to aspire to be more like? It's just TERRIBLE and that will likely be the next content I make rather than dipping back into this dreck.

My Childhood Shattered by Disney's Destruction of Star Wars
My childhood in the 1990s was indelibly marked by the epic saga of Star Wars: Episodes IV, V, and VI. A cinematic masterpiece that exploded my mind and transported me to an unforgettable galactic adventure where good triumphed over evil.
But that admiration has now turned to disdain. Disney, after acquiring the franchise, destroyed all the nostalgia I held so dear. Episode 7, despite its flaws, still managed to hold things together. But Episodes 8 and 9 demolished the legacy of Star Wars, leaving it on the brink of death.
A brief glimmer of hope emerged with "The Mandalorian." We believed that Disney had finally understood what the fans wanted. But the illusion soon shattered, giving way to a torrent of mediocre content. The infamous "Acolyte" was the final nail in the coffin of Star Wars.
Disney seems more interested in pushing political and ideological agendas than in simply telling good stories. They sacrifice quality for profit, hiring incompetent friends and cronies of the King (and Queen) instead of talented professionals. 180 million dollars were wasted on the "Acolyte" series, while a movie like Dune was made for the same amount. They could have made 10 Godzilla Minus One movies with that money!
This is pure and simple money laundering. They fund this ideological and political war of the King's (and Queen's) friends and cronies, ignoring the pleas of the loyal fanbase that just wants a good story, just wants to escape from the real world for a few minutes. The 86% disapproval rating on Rotten Tomatoes is a reflection of what Disney has done to Star Wars: a complete abomination.
And anyone who disagrees is labeled a misogynist, homophobic, or whatever. They destroyed the few good memories of my childhood and the nostalgia I felt for Star Wars.
Enough is enough! My time consuming Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars is over. No more giving my hard-earned money to this soulless corporation. If I could, I would demand a refund for all the games I've bought.
We need to send a message to these white-collar vultures: boycott, cancel Disney Plus! Stop consuming Disney content. If you want to watch their movies, download them from torrents. Games? Pirate Bay. Shirts and statues? Artisans and sculptors with no ties to these scumbags!
Enough feeding this institution that only destroys and corrupts. Let's value true audiovisual art, made with love and respect. Or let's move on and focus on other hobbies, leaving this in the past. FAREWELL!

I really want to thank you for your reactions. I apologize for the torture you’ve endured due to this show. I grew up on the OG trilogy, but seeing the Jedi in the prequels was what really drew me into being a hardcore Star Wars fan. Clone Wars and Rebels only deepened my love for the jedi. I was really looking forward to seeing the Jedi in their prime in this time period. Clearly I was blindsided and thoroughly disappointed with the way Lucasfilm chose to represent the jedi in this time period. These jedi don’t behave like jedi. Jedi are selfless. I was done with this series after I saw them portray a jedi who chose to delete himself. Yoda tried to get Anakin to celebrate those who join the force, but a jedi powerful enough to levitate and create a force “forcefield”…it’s not possible for someone to be that connected to the force to choose to drink poison. That is a completely selfish act, a very non jedi act. That was not the will of the force. Anyone with as much regret and sorrow as they implied he had would’ve turned to the dark side rather than build up that much power in the light side of the force. The creators of this show have no understanding of the jedi or of the timeline. It’s deeply disappointing and disgusting to represent the jedi in this manner. Too much needless canon-breaking. Too many issues. Padawans more powerful than masters. Turning lightsabers into mood rings. Trying to justify the sith and get them sympathy. Representing jedi as a police force. I canceled my disney plus over this show. I really appreciate your reactions and share in your disappointment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and emotions.
