"Case 6: Steamed Turnabout" Walkthrough: 2:37 - [Present]: Steamed Clams 2:52 - [What Region?] *(Note: if you're playing the older version, the case actually asks you to press on the statement because it was originally a cross-examination section. The remaster cut out this part in favor of a choice box since it was mostly to pad out the runtime for the original)* 3:19 - [Press Harder] *(Note: there's supposed to be a choice prompt on whether you'd press Skinner or leave it alone. I guess the creator just didn't put it on screen for whatever reason)* 3:32 - Inspect the bun *(Note: This is one of my biggest gripes with the new inspect mechanic of this case. The hitbox for what you're actually aiming for is quite small and imprecise. I remember playing this and absolutely spamming the middle part so I can inspect the patty but the game wouldn't let me. I guess I was supposed to click the bun to lift it but if that were the intention, it was poorly choreographed. At least they don't penalize you for inspecting the wrong thing... for now.)* 3:47 - [Present]: Grilled Patty *(Note: If you have inspected the patty beforehand, you can directly present it as evidence. If you didn't, you have to do the inspect minigame with a penalty if you clicked somewhere wrong. THIS is what I severely disliked.)* 4:43 - [Present]: Nature Magazine *(Note: Alright, this one's tricky. The evidence you need is actually easily missable. You can find it if you examine the entryway of Skinner's House before sitting down. In the magazine, you can read the specific conditions that allow Aurora Borealis to occur. Presenting that here will give you the true ending where you fully confront Skinner. I guess the guy in the video forgot to do that so he had no basis to protest Skinner's convincing poker face and refusal to let you enter the kitchen)* If you followed the guide correctly, you should find Skinner getting chewed out by Chalmers but learning from the situation to tell the truth instead of creating bigger and increasingly absurd lies. In this ending, Skinner's housefire will be contained in the kitchen and would save his poor mother some burn scars due to the Fire Department being called early. While the scene of Chalmers walking away from Skinner's burning down house completely oblivious is a hilarious image, it doesn't count as a good ending for obvious reasons.
This is totally genius. Not only because of the funny mix but on the deep dissection of the joke itself. Hope you make more! There's a lot gags on Simpsons and other series to analyse!
If instead of "The end", this ended with a save game screen and then another turnabout showing up referencing another conflict of The Simpsons, I'd have died. Still surprisingly good. Had a good laugh, thank you.

Then we would have a Psyche-Lock session between Skinner and Superintendent based on what aurora borealis is, then we'll be shed upon by the meteorological knowledge about aurora borealis, from solar wind, geomagnetism to atmospheric composition and atomic spectrum. XD
This was absolutely amazing. I think it's my favorite version of this meme. Very charming. One slight missed opportunity: You should have made the date April 14, the original airdate of 22 Short Films about Springfield, which Steamed Hams was a part of. But that's just a nitpick. That being said, one little touch I liked were the typos sprinkled here and there in the dialogue. The Ace Attorney series has its fair share of typos. EDIT: I JUST realized: "22 Short Films about Springfield"... and March *22!* I see what you did there!
Man that was awesome. The only thing i really missed were the dramatic thumps during breakdown at 3:59, but i would officialy be declared dead and void of ribs if that were the case. 10/10
This might be my favorite version of the meme just because seeing what's going on in Chalmers' mind as he gradually warms up to poor Skinner is genuinely uplifting
"Objection!" You clearly see Superintendent Chalmers take a bite of the burger at 3:11, yet when Chalmers presents the burger to Skinner at 3:54 the patty is fully formed! *Objection! music plays*
The colors of the top of the burger change. The flutes magically fill themselves and change their liquid amount. The number of burgers on the platter decreases dramatically. There are a *lot* of animation errors in this.
I object to your objections! clearly, realising how delicious the steamed hams actually were, chalmers could barely contain his excitement and quickly grabbed a second burger while the camera was in a position where you couldn't see it!
This is just about the best steamed hams meme I've ever seen. It's hard to take a legendary commentary sketch and do anything with it besides make it worse, so top marks to you, old chap.

(Let's go over the facts. I know for sure that Skinner is hiding something, but what could it be? Maybe I should start with these burgers. Something's off with them... )
(What's off about these burgers)
>The way they are made<
>There's no sauce
>They are surrounded by fries
*SMASH*
THESE HAMBURGERS ARE OBVIOUSLY GRILLED!
(Skinner keeps calling them "Steamed Hams." And when I pointed this out to him, he just went away. That's when he told me something else...Aurora Borealis...At this time of day, at this time of year, at this part of the country?)
(How could the Northern Lights in Springfield right now?)
>Springfield is located in Canada
>They're not<
>I got the wrong house
*SMASH*
THEY CAN'T BE!
(It's not possible, but, I saw lights in his kitchen. Obviously, they aren't man-made. They were right there, but, what could they be if they're not the Northern Lights?)
(What is the source of those lights?)
>Work of Bart Simpson
>Spirit Channeling
>Seymour's Oven<
*SMASH*
THE LIGHTS WERE COMING FROM SEYMOUR'S OVEN!
(Of course! Seymour was trying to hide what was in his oven from me. What's so important?)
(What's in Skinner's Oven)
>Steamed Clams
>A ruined roast<
>The body
*SMASH*
SEYMOUR'S ROAST IS RUINED!
(Which means Seymour's oven is on FIRE! So he could have made these hamburgers. So, who did? What did? Where did?)
(Who really made the Steamed Hams?)
>Skinner's Mom
>Homer Simpson
>Krusty<
*SMASH*
*STEAMED HAMS*
*ARE*
*KRUSTY BURGERS*
Christianthepupbot 10/10
(Now would be cool to introduce all these elements in a new updated video.)
Skinner: N-*NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
(Fade to black)
Christianthepupbot that looks more like Miles Edgeworth to me.
@@clokie6671 phoenix does it in Spirit of Justice and the entry before that
Steamed Hams aren’t Krusty Burgers!!! They’re an old family recipe!
Skinner updated the steamed clams to steamed hams. Talk about the detail level.
Chalmers: I thought we were having steamed clams.
Skinner: Oh no, that meal report is out of date. Here is the updated meal report.
The greatest thing this video takes from Ace Attorney is the level of sympathy Chalmers displays towards Skinner. It's actually kind of heartwarming.
GeneralOlde ikr! It was sooooo sweet!
Canonically, I think Chalmers goes "you know what? if i keep asking questions, things are just going to get even stupider, so I'm just gonna roll with it."
This was really well made and thought out to reflect the undertone of the real scene. I like Calmers inner monologe. Makes him out to be a pretty nice guy.
I lost it at the ending where the superintendant reflects on what happens and gives a clumsy life lesson. So Ace Attorney! Great video
Top meme of 2018. Much like Skinner's steamed hams, this was very well done.
it's actually from 2017
Oh boy, 2016 Compuglobalhypermeganet would like to speak with you
Eeeh
at least im not nintendrew
Regular Person b , you know, I really like how you had called out someone you did not like simply because of his grammar. Truly a fine statement against someone who despite no previously displayed actual acts of aggression or retardation, really just deserves such a assumption based childish Insult against a harmless comment. Truly sir, I applaud you.
(I suppose some other dolt would rather point out my use of punctuations over non cancerous conversations, which is admittedly; quite common in this day and age)
I had to clap at this one. You got it dead to rights.
ha Ha HA
I think you mean Wrights lol
As an Ace Prosecutor, I approve
Thanks!
But... you never won a case.
iKiwed Urk!
As a prosecutor and an Attorney, you say
iKiwed You know he was an attorney before a prosecutor, right?
Czar Starrk Blackrekiem of course, he was in coma for like 4 years, and when he wake up, he went to be a prosecutor because Mia was dead and he like her :'v
Ace Attorney music makes any situation seem badass...or sad, depending on which song you're playing.
Phoenix totally found a real murderer once based on the fact that burgers were grilled and not steamed
It’s Maya again
That Seymour sure steams a good ham.
GameFace its funny that you’re here xd i watch ur nuzlockes
Well he is an odd fellow
This is my favorite steamed hams video. The music is getting rid of my headache.
1000th like
Skinner the sinner
This was great. All it needed tho was for Chalmers to have shouted "OBJECTION!" at least once.
Yeah I noticed only later I could easily add one before he could say the hamburger was grilled.
Me too, but it was still amazing
"What about the fries?"
Fantastic
But what about the droid attack on the wookies?
This is some of the best editing for a steamed hams video that I have ever watched. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
This was awesome, dude. Amazing editing and very clever. Didn't expect the story to be from Chalmers' POV, either!
I love how Chalmers' napkin at 2:53 looks like Edgeworth's cravat
Exactly my thought!
conditionals
Clearly a man who has taken the first napkin
Clearly a man who has read jojo
Io Me Clearly a man with great taste.
The low-quality textbox + text really sells this. Haven't had a laugh like that in ages.
“But the Aurora Borealis... never happen.”
4:42 gets me every time
"Case 6: Steamed Turnabout" Walkthrough:
2:37 - [Present]: Steamed Clams
2:52 - [What Region?]
*(Note: if you're playing the older version, the case actually asks you to press on the statement because it was originally a cross-examination section. The remaster cut out this part in favor of a choice box since it was mostly to pad out the runtime for the original)*
3:19 - [Press Harder]
*(Note: there's supposed to be a choice prompt on whether you'd press Skinner or leave it alone. I guess the creator just didn't put it on screen for whatever reason)*
3:32 - Inspect the bun
*(Note: This is one of my biggest gripes with the new inspect mechanic of this case. The hitbox for what you're actually aiming for is quite small and imprecise. I remember playing this and absolutely spamming the middle part so I can inspect the patty but the game wouldn't let me. I guess I was supposed to click the bun to lift it but if that were the intention, it was poorly choreographed. At least they don't penalize you for inspecting the wrong thing... for now.)*
3:47 - [Present]: Grilled Patty
*(Note: If you have inspected the patty beforehand, you can directly present it as evidence. If you didn't, you have to do the inspect minigame with a penalty if you clicked somewhere wrong. THIS is what I severely disliked.)*
4:43 - [Present]: Nature Magazine
*(Note: Alright, this one's tricky. The evidence you need is actually easily missable. You can find it if you examine the entryway of Skinner's House before sitting down. In the magazine, you can read the specific conditions that allow Aurora Borealis to occur. Presenting that here will give you the true ending where you fully confront Skinner. I guess the guy in the video forgot to do that so he had no basis to protest Skinner's convincing poker face and refusal to let you enter the kitchen)*
If you followed the guide correctly, you should find Skinner getting chewed out by Chalmers but learning from the situation to tell the truth instead of creating bigger and increasingly absurd lies.
Payne: "Dohohoho! You stil think we're having steamed clams? Looks like you've not checked the UPDATED autopsy report. We're having steamed HAMS!"
I cried like three times, this was beautiful. well done
I want to privately examine ema
Eleven Eyes man of culture
This video wins the Internet, there's no way it can be topped.
This video will always hold a special place in my heart, please never delete it, it reminds m3 of me better times
i really liked how you put him in this perspective making the scene more light hearted and kind...
You steamed a good ham!
AngryDemonBowser i love this video, especially the speech at the end!
Chalmers should stop judging things based on narrow-minded cultural assumptions.
It's a step-ladder you idiot!
Yes but....WHAT ABOUT THE FRIES?
That's when you load up your save to see all dialogue.
the hamburger minigame wrecked me. The epilogue DESTROYED ME
Yonk lol the last part is my favourite
the epilogue also destroyed skinner's mother.
Only thing that could have made this better is “OBJECTION” and “HOLD IT”
“oh no! i said steamed hams. thats what i call hamburgers” *5 psych locks loudly appear behind skinner*
This is totally genius.
Not only because of the funny mix but on the deep dissection of the joke itself.
Hope you make more! There's a lot gags on Simpsons and other series to analyse!
Thanks. This made me start with Ace Attorney.
If instead of "The end", this ended with a save game screen and then another turnabout showing up referencing another conflict of The Simpsons, I'd have died.
Still surprisingly good. Had a good laugh, thank you.
Yes...
Who really shot Muntgummory Burns?
yeah, with the firefighters siren
the thinking bits were soo good . this is an absolute masterpiece
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO ABOUT THIS EPISODE I WATCHED WITH A VIDEOGAME REFERENCE, THIS IS COOL.
I'M SORRY IF MY ENGLISH WRITING IS BAD, I'M NOT FOCUSING ON IT, I'M JUST HAPPY ABOUT THIS, YOU DID AN AMAZING WORK, i did enjoy this and laughed so much. ♡
*Turnabout Borealis*
Mellon
*The Steamed Turnabout*
He wanted to see the Northern Lights, but the miracle never happen.
Matt Meaney how sad
Was expecting a Psyche-Lock to appear at 4:43
Same!
Same here too
Then we would have a Psyche-Lock session between Skinner and Superintendent based on what aurora borealis is, then we'll be shed upon by the meteorological knowledge about aurora borealis, from solar wind, geomagnetism to atmospheric composition and atomic spectrum. XD
it is amazing how the music at 3:14 never fails to get me hyped
He should have said “HOLD IT” when he presented it from the mind record and objection maybe somewhere, other than that, my favourite version by far
This is amazing and you should feel proud. Even put in chalmer's thoughts.
What about the fries?
Huracán Wouldn't be Ace Attorney without that one object you can never examine and is never brought up.
Becky C. What's the difference? You really need to brush up on your fries knowledge!
Those are Stepfries.
Rhys Aren't stepfries and fries the same thing?
such a thing exists ? i always thought every evidence is used at some point in the case, i guess i have to go back and replay them
Man that was awesome.
"Objection!"
You clearly see Superintendent Chalmers take a bite of the burger at 3:11, yet when Chalmers presents the burger to Skinner at 3:54 the patty is fully formed! *Objection! music plays*
Boy I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
Objection! you're the prosecution! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON!?!
I love you so much for this.
This is really well made...
...But for the love of everything that is good, _please_ capitalize the word I next time!
DaVince21 Yep, I will!
Yeah, it was perfect except for that.
DaVince21 And change some of the words to the correct tense, but yeah. Absolutely brilliant.
DaVince21 I never expected you to be here!
Did he already fix it?
This is just about the best steamed hams meme I've ever seen. It's hard to take a legendary commentary sketch and do anything with it besides make it worse, so top marks to you, old chap.
"Eat your Steamed Hams, Chalmers."
4:00
Choosing Objection 2004, the obvious best objection theme. Good choice.
Nicholas Kawamura I prefer the original.
Nicholas Kawamura my only nitpick with this wonderful video is WHY ON EARTH didn't it use Cornered 2004 for the Aurora Borealis part tho???
Nicholas Kawamura nice pfp
Ikr
Holbrook Stark because the Ace Attorney 2's theme is obviously better.
BEST ONE EVER
(Even the typoes are authentic lololol)
Jesus Christ dude, you favorite way too many comments.
lucifer satan
venom steve from minecraft
Well well well, if it isn't Tony-two-hands
What is your boss pfp from?
Gwyn Lord of Cinder
(His editing timing and inferences of the characters motivations are impeccable. This will be hard not to snort while laughing.)
Seymour brought Chalmers an updated Hams report
I like how this reveals the secret phycology of Chalmers
The Northern Lights never happen
I understood that reference!
when i first watched this video i knew nothing about the series, i now know everything that happens in the first 2 games and am going to buy a game in the series the next time i get the chance, this meme video somehow ended making me a fan
Athesies Good to know! Glad I brought you to this series! I personally suggest to not play the newest games (Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice) until you’ve concluded the first 4 games (the DS games). Have fun!
@@iKiwed i finally got around to playing DD and soj early this year, and i really loved them! Hope ace attorney 7 comes out eventually. I'll have to get around to playing the great ace attorney in the mean time
You know, the internal dialogue makes the Superintendent a lot more likable.
Superintendent Chalmers is Life.
No wonder everyone was such a dick to Phoenix. They never heard his inner monologue 😄
The year is ending and I just got this on my recommended but it was still amazing even after almost 2 years
I love your profile picture.
I have never seen a video with 6,000+ likes and only 19 dislikes. This is amazing, and you deserve it. I'm speechless. I love this.
Thanks, i am speechless too! Never thought to reach this number. My subscribers tripled, I'm glad you like it.
I bet some of those dislikes are trolls. Like one example is "I cannot stop watching this video I hate that I can't stop watching it".
The cringe love is similar to Tim and Eric.
CaptainBarbossa85 Thank you for your appreciation! I am ok for dislikes. As he said before, the number of dislikes is definitely smaller than the number of likes, which means the video is overall appreciated. I read all of your comments and you all really make my day. That said, I’ve also received good feedback for a better Steamed Hams video. I don’t think I’m going to remake this video because it takes time and I’m busy these days, but I appreciate when someone has to say something, without swearing and all.
Thank you so much, you all!
Something is wrong with the like button. I can only press on it once to upvote this video.
I will never see Chalmers in another one of these memes the same way again.
This is amazing! How is it 5 years old and I've not seen it before? Definitely one of the better Hams videos
Jesus christ like what...how can you...this is...man you fucking nailed everything from the ace attorney games, even the fucking morale quote thingy at the end!
