I’ve had surgery twice at Bumrungrad and was very happy with the care (they saved my life - long story…lol). It’s JC accredited and also has US trained docs. Internationally known for medical tourism. Caveat: probably more costly than other equally good hospitals in Bangkok? Highly recommend, they have most specialties as well.

Interesting discussion. My wife and I had some minor dental work done in Playa Del Carmen. My was fine ( root canal + crown ). She had a crown fall out twice since we were there. So mixed results. That being said, we feel the work was well done, we just had some bad luck I think. Strangely, looking forward to your dental video. We have been thinking about long term Thailand trip. We may self ensure for medical as we don't really trust travel medical insurance anyway.
Good thing about the place Im at is that there is a 2 year warranty. If something fell out, they’d replace it cost free. Fingers crossed nothing falls out! :)

No it’s just a standard hotel room. But it is right next to a place called The Street which has a Foodland Grocery Store, and tons of restaurants (Thai and western).

following the dental stuff for sure, I've dumped about $15k into my teeth in the last year (all that Navy dentistry coming back to bite me!)
That’s funny…they removed all my old Navy fillings and said the stuff they just was from like the 1950s. So far it’s been great.

So you have to stay there about 2 months? That's expensive staying that long in a hotel. Unless someone is retired how can a average person do any dentistry work there?
nope, just a month. Im getting a full mouth restoration and chose to do it the recommended way. However, they will speed up the time frame for you if you want.

Yeah, I have been coming here since 1994 and heard it a zillion different ways. They reason I say it that way is because in 1994, when my Navy ship pulled in we had a local group come onboard and tell me that was the correct way to pronounce it. Stuck with me ever since and a tough habit to break after 30 years.
