I adore Bangkok and visit there twice. I always stay a block from the metro, night markets, dinner river cruise you have to experience that. Also, the Thailand dinner theater is awesome, visiting the royal homes are amazing. Great city for all dental and nip and tuck, don't forget the shopping, awesome international resturant.

Aloha Kevin! Welcome to the neighborhood! Though I’m not living at TDP, I can see your building from mine. Caught up on your replay: so many topics to comment on. -- I agree: I don’t cook at home, so why cook at a restaurant? My strategy: choose a shop with lovely staff, order cook-at-your-table dishes, then act helpless. The staff always jumps in to save me! -- I wish I had the problem of losing too much weight. At least I'm stable, but Thailand isn’t the place to diet. After a health screening last year, I became a part-time vegan/vegetarian. There are quite a few shops that cater to this style, but it’s not easy. -- I didn’t know you were still trading since I see little discussion on that. I have a good dividend portfolio too, but I trade options daily (mainly 1am-3am) for generating my income. The time zone difference takes getting used to. -- Good to hear from you, so please keep posting any interesting discoveries in Bangkok!

It is crazy how much teeth make a difference in a smile! Looking good. I have been doing them one tooth at a time, and therefore slight discrepancies in color and shape. Makes sense to do it all at once. 🦷 I just start using Seeking Alpha! And HDO within that platform. Still pretty befuddled, but learning bit by bit, investing slowly.

I heard you answer a question about aolo experience in NCL vs Princess. I have been on both but am curious what the "fun" difference was between the two. Did you have more entertainment options you enjoyed on NCL? Better interaction with other people? I have two cruises picked out... both 10 days different ports one on NCL and one on Princess.
@@annmariefoster5896 There was just more entertainment options and a different vibe & a lot more people attending the different options.

Thailand is full of dental clinics. How did you pick that specific clinic?
I just did a ton of research. sent messages to people that had work done at a bunch of different places. Read the reviews. Looked at the Dentist’s qualifications and paid attending to international standard ratings. They also specialize in dental tourism and are reliant on word of mouth from clients to be successful. And lastly, look for the ones that offer warranties on their work. The place I went has a 2 year warranty for crowns and 1 year for veneers which is the industry standard. Many clinics dont have warranties. And last, look at the brands they use. Are they using the high end brands or are they going with cheaper brands for their crowns and veneers. It was a lot. But it’s a big investment, so i didn’t mind doing the research.

so I wasn't able to watch the whole thing.. and I have questions. How long did it take to do all that dental work? And does the place you went to have a general price of what they do? I am looking at maybe going for dental tourism. I have several crowns that are really old, and some fillings, and my teeth are not that bright, but otherwise in good shape. I would love to take a trip and get all my teeth issues taken care of, maybe some veneers too.
I’ll be putting a vid out soon about the whole process. Took about 6 weeks but I got 22 crowns and 6 veneers. My dentist is Dr. Vichulada. Here is a link to their fees: bangkokdentalcenter.com/fees/
@@30AndAWakeUp wow those prices are so much better than here in the US. I had an old crown and bridge that needed work, had to get the root canal because of pain. 2k at the local 'emergency' dentist ONLY FOR THE ROOT CANAL. and they wanted 2k more to finish the crown part..
