@@cutecats532 This is a mod, it's based on a Minecraft legend, and in this mod I'm pretty sure Herobrine just scares you, it doesn't actually kill you.

Herobrine is an old Minecraft creepypasta. Someone made a story where basically their copy of Minecraft was haunted and they were being stalked by a player character with glowing eyes but they were playing offline. Herobrine is the name of the entity. It ended up going viral and became a meme/kind of folk lore within Minecraft haha. Even the devs added some Herobrine related stuff into the game and every patch note used to say "-removed Herobrine" every update.
In the mod, it basically makes him real and do things he did in the story. He won't outright kill you, but he can do stuff that screws you over like removing all the torches from an area. You'll leave your home and come back to all the torches on the ground. Or if he's really feeling pesky, and you're hanging out for a long time in your house, he will wait outside and spawn a creeper right around the corner of your building as soon as you leave haha. You'll be feeling safe, probably focused on a goal like, "oh I need to get some coal" and sprint around the corner right into a creeper lmao
He can also burn your house, leave signs, make small strange constructions like pyramids, take leavs from treees in an area, place redstone torches or 2x1 long tunnels with nothing but redstone torches
That is hardly impressive, all they have to do is allow it to see through the glass, just like mobs can see through doors, then it'll behave the same way it behaves outside, it'll just teleport to a place where the code detects direct sight to the player.
I love how you made the entire land to dripstone “caves” biome, it makes the world feel post apocalyptic and barren with no signs of civilization. It makes you feel truly alone in the vast world

I'm so glad I decided to click into this, I was definitely priming myself for the over the top clearly geared towards 12 year olds stuff most mc content is these days, so this was an absolute blessing. The vibes are absolutely right here and it is wonderful

As a expert of environmental science I can confirm this is the greenhouse affect, due to the sunlight and trees and heat = oxygen from the magma blox being trapped in the glass dome there would eventually be grass due to stable habitable temperatures

I really like this video. Like, enjoyment I haven't gotten since I was a kid watching my first Minecraft let's play.
It's a simple but very entertaining concept: you're stuck in a barren wasteland. Cold starving and **not** alone since you're cursed by this thing that seems to be toying with you.
But most importantly of all, it's a funny, non obnoxious video that cuts out the boring parts and adds very good audio work. Amazing job dude.
this video was so fun to watch. it wasnt overstimulating like a kids channel video about herobrine but it also wasnt taking itself too seriously. you got a few laughs out if me and i was genuinely jumpscared a couple times. awesome video def do more. new sub :)
Loved it! You should continue this series but with the cave dweller, night dweller, and the other dwellers. Would be terrifying to see them roaming the above ground cave lands!

mate, I’ve been wanting to create a TH-cam channel and to have fun in Minecraft again for ages, but i was always just kinda scared to try. Having seen this, i think I’m finally inspired to actually give it a shot. Thank you so much!

This episode reminds me of some of the early apocalypse servers I played on a decade ago. The server owner would spawn in a world without grassblocks (or grass plants) and we would have to try and figure out how to survive long-term. Sometimes they also made sunlight damaging without enough armor. Those were fun servers.
Since chest spawns in dungeons (no mineshafts or ruined portals yet) were unaltered, I was eventually able to find a single spruce sapling on one along with some melon seeds. With that we managed to create one hidden valley of greenery in the wasteland. On another server, I found a legal source of grass blocks in these little oases in the desert biomes. Silk Touch didn't exist yet, so I had to make a chain of dirt blocks out of the desert to re-green the wasteland. That eventually got wiped because it's supposed to be a wasteland, but the server owner let me keep a couple of locations that couldn't spread to the rest of the map.

I am glad i have found this channel. I literally havent enjoyed watching minecraft videos like this since the days of danTDM. The jokes are hilarious, the editings done amasingly and the commentary is perfect. Was this series a blast.
Its rare these days for minecraft youtubers to do something neatly and make it fun to watch, and i didnt get even slightly distracted just straight focus. This series is the literal prime example of how minecraft videos should be done, so keep up the good work man

If you think this mod was hard and scary, I'd love to see your thoughts on Better Than Wolves. Its a very well done mod, little bit of a different style but it turns the survival aspect of Minecraft from 1 up to 20.
Btw is hardcore survival like its barely minecraft in some aspects like this could be harder but its meant to be something the average player can tackle
Use better with mods, it's a version of better than wolves that works on modern versions of Minecraft and doesn't conflict with other mods like btw is "uncompatible with everything"
If you thought better than wolves or better than mods were harder on the survival aspects, try Hardcore Terrafirmacraft... glhf...

just discovered you and this video of you slowly piecing together a home for yourself and...this is beautiful, and not just in a "this house looks pretty" or "the splash of green is nice compared to the gray backdrop" its beautiful, the desire put behind it to build a hospitable place in a barren, unforgiving world, with every force turned against you. the drive to not just survive in this world, but to THRIVE, to build a home for yourself, its art.
i especially like the ambient noises of the birds and rustling trees, hearing the little bits of nature and life building itself up around you, its amazing. keep up the fantastic work.
(also i say keep the grass, the world is cruel to you, the least you deserve is a green yard)
